About the Role
Analyze project health for a portfolio of projects in both design phase and construction phase and develop a monthly project summary of the portfolio. Report will be used to facilitate conversations with both internal and external stakeholders. Individual must be able to work independently and have good communication skills. Experience in reading project schedules is required.
Responsibilities
- Overall project status.
- Current cost vs. planned costs.
- Schedule and if the projects are on track or delayed.
- Current project scope and if there are any requested changes.
- Track change orders and field orders - understand the impact of each to the project.
- Identify and call out action items that require attention of stakeholders.
- Identify current and potentially upcoming delays.
- Recommend mitigation strategies.
- Travel may be required to visit job sites as needed.
Qualifications
Shall possess, at a minimum, 8 years of experience on larger projects valued above $10 Million, with knowledge of RFI tracking, contract document review, forecast and cost scheduling, preparation of change order review and review of payments.
Required Skills
- 8 years of industry experience in the construction industry
- Good communication skills, experience in reading project schedules.
Preferred Skills
- 2 years experience in design & construction project scheduling.
