Role Description
This is available as a part-time, full-time and per diem job. With the potential to work on-site and/or in home health role for a Physical Therapy Assistant located in Youngstown, OH. Responsibilities include assisting physical therapists in implementing treatment plans, supporting and observing patients during therapy sessions, and documenting progress accurately. The role also involves ensuring a safe and welcoming environment, maintaining equipment, and providing compassionate patient care to foster recovery.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Patient Care
- Excellent Communication skills for interacting with patients, therapists, and team members
- Certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) required
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative on-site team setting
- Prior experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is a plus
- Proven ability to empathize with and support patient needs
