The successful candidate for the role of Software Engineer Developer will play a crucial role in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of non-embedded software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets industry, customer, and safety standards for the Tomahawk program, while adhering to strict government regulations. Tapestry Solutions, a part of Boeing Global Services BGS, is seeking a Software Engineer in Hazelwood, MO for the Department of Navy Tomahawk Land-Attack Missile program. The Tomahawk program is expanding to include additional US and foreign customers and will remain relevant for many more years. This position is essential for helping Tapestry Solutions and our customers navigate this expansion.

Position Responsibilities:

• Plan, design, create and maintain relational databases
• Write scripts and instructions on how to migrate data during software upgrades and be able to support customers and co-contractors with implementation
• Design and implement database backups and recovery programs
• Implement and maintain database security
• Produce documentation about database changes, deliverable to customers and co-contractors
• Handles user inquiries, troubleshoot technical issues and user feedback analysis
• ​Implement current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant to software development
• Execute and document software research and development projects

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Active U.S. Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI
• 3+ year of experience with VB.NET or C#.NET (including .NET Framework)
• 2+ years of experience with Bash, CMD, PowerShell, or other scripting language
• 1+ years of experience with SQL or another relational database
• 2+ years of database administration experience
• 1+ years experience with MSSQL or Transact-SQL

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
• CompTIA Security+ Certification or higher
• Unit testing frameworks like xUnit, nUnit, or MSTest
• Windows Environment (Windows 10/11, Windows Server)
• 1+ years experience with Windows Desktop Development
• Project Management Tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.)
• Azure DevOps Pipelines or other CI/CD tools
• Microservices or RESTful APIs
• Containerized Software and Databases
• Agile
• Strong mathematical analysis skills or STEM degree
• C++
