As the Resort Activities Host, you will:

  • Bring the fun every day by coordinating recreational programs for all ages based on guest interests, resort needs, and the season.
  • Plan and lead the good times in classes, games, competitions, mixers, holiday events, and special themed activities that keep guests and owners smiling.
  • Be the go to vibe creator by answering questions, sharing resort info, and helping solve guest concerns with a friendly, upbeat attitude.
  • Keep the party stocked by managing recreation inventory and ordering supplies while staying on budget.
  • Jump in where needed and support other departments to make sure every guest’s resort experience feels seamless and memorable.

Qualifications

  • 6 months previous experience in activities/recreation, preferably in hospitality setting.
  • Utilize creativity and polished customer service skills to enhance every guest interaction and activity experience.
  • Must be able to stand for an extended period of time as 90-100% of the shift is standing.
  • Make decisions based on your own judgment and company policy.
  • Occasional carrying and lifting of items up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities :

  • Performer should be willing to demonstrate high energy levels, a full range of body movement, basic improvisation, and guest interaction.
  • These roles require wearing large body costumes, heads, and feet, and exposure to hot weather.
