Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP is seeking a Litigation Associate with 4+ years of experience to join our team of nationally recognized litigators in Philadelphia. Our associates have a hands-on role in interesting, complex litigation in a wide variety of substantive matters in state and federal courts, private arbitration, and before governmental agencies.


This is an excellent opportunity for an associate looking to deepen their litigation skills as part of a collaborative, high-performing team. We invest in our associates through immersive training, practical experience, and dedicated mentorship to support long-term growth.


Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience handling complex commercial litigation; experience handling mass tort and insurance matters is a plus but not required;
  • Ability to independently manage concurrent cases at various stages of litigation, including but not limited to pleadings, depositions, discovery, client communication, and court appearances;
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills and record of strong academic performance;
  • Must be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania; New Jersey or additional bar admissions a plus.

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP is looking to expand the Litigation Practice Support team by hiring an experienced Litigation Practice Support Specialist in our Philadelphia office. Qualified candidates should have excellent communication skills, experience with E-Discovery, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask and balance priorities. Candidates should also possess excellent organization and project management skills and be attentive to the needs of the firm and its clients.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Defining case requirements; culling, analyzing, and reviewing discovery data;
  • Providing technical support using various platforms; training document reviewers as necessary;
  • Analyzing, uploading, Bates stamping, and processing data for production;
  • Training on litigation support tools; ability to communicate clearly and provide follow-up support;
  • Creation of visual aids for reports and presentations; analyzing usage and efficiency of platform and technology;
  • Researching relevant systems and software;
  • Familiarity with legal procedures, terms, and processes;
  • Manipulate load files and conduct quality checks prior to loading data;
  • Work closely with all members of the legal team and Practice Support throughout all stages of the litigation lifecycle;
  • Manage secure receipt, encryption, and transmittal of client data including logging and maintaining status tracking charts;
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with software platforms and work with software vendors and IT on issue resolution;
  • Coordinate and manage outside e-discovery vendors when data is sent out for processing, hosting and/or review;
  • The position requires occasional weekend and after-hours support.


Qualifications include, but are not limited to:

  • In depth understanding of Electronic Discovery Reference Model;
  • Excellent skills using and administering LAW Pre-Discovery, Relativity Server, Casemap, and TextMap;
  • 2+ years of experience as a litigation support analyst or paralegal utilizing and analyzing E-Discovery platforms;
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred;
  • High level of proficiency in Excel or MS Access;
  • Experience using SQL preferred;
  • Relativity Certified Administrator (RCA) preferred.

Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young, LLP, is seeking to hire a Trusts & Estates Paralegal to be based out of our Malvern office. Our ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, a client service orientation, and a proactive "can do" attitude.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Independently administer complex estates and trusts;
  • Identify and marshal estate assets, and perform other probate functions required to administer estates through final settlement;
  • Maintain financial records for use in preparing tax returns and fiduciary accountings;
  • Assist with the preparation, review, and filing of fiduciary income tax, inheritance, and estate tax returns;
  • Prepare fiduciary accountings for estates and trusts;
  • Prepare various projections and calculations used for financial, tax, and estate planning purposes; and
  • Prepare Receipt and Release Agreements, Schedules of Distribution, and related documentation, for informal settlement of estates and trusts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate preferred;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Trusts & Estates Paralegal;
  • Strong accounting background;
  • Experience with accounting and tax preparation software, such as GEMs, Zane, or ProSystem fx; and
  • Able to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
