Job Description
The City of Renton is recruiting for part-time Outside Services positions at the City's Maplewood Golf Course. Duties will include providing cart attendance, monitoring the driving range facility, and providing marshal services. The applicant will have the ability to assist customers to maintain steady and safe play throughout the golf course while projecting a friendly and helpful attitude as a course representative. The intent is to ensure that the golfer leaves Maplewood with a feeling of course organization, safety, and above all, the desire to return to play golf at our facility.
SUPERVISION:
Reports To: Golf Professional
Supervises: none
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Monitor driving range hitting bays and collect/restock empty baskets.
- Operate driving range picker.
- Perform golf ball recovery from driving range and surrounding area; final "pick" prior to closing.
- Clean range balls and fill dispenser hopper.
- Cleaning and organizing of driving range picking room and equipment.
- Reporting any damage to equipment and any safety issues to supervisor.
- Operate equipment in a safe and productive manner.
- Clean power cart windshields and seats, taking care to avoid scratching carts.
- Sweep out the power carts and remove all garbage; wipe down the body and check for possible damage.
- Sweep out the power cart barn monthly.
- Record any damages to carts, and repairs that are needed in the cart journal.
- Perform related duties as assigned
- Marshal the golf course when instructed
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 16 years of age.
- Successful passing of a required background check.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the position and an understanding of the game of golf.

Job Description
The City of Renton is recruiting for Golf Course Laborers to assist with ground maintenance at the Maplewood Golf Course. The schedule for this position varies and hours can range from 16 - 40 hours per week March through November.This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a short term, part-time position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare and maintain golf course.
- Mow and edge lawns; trim, weed and prune landscaped areas; prepare and plant lawns, trees, shrubs, hedges and flowers.
- Hoe weeds, rake lawns; water various ground areas by hand.
- Operate blower to clean sidewalks, collect trash and perform general grounds cleaning. Assist in installing and repairing sprinkler systems as assigned.
- Operate utility vehicles, riding and push mowers, edgers, weed eaters, power sweeper, blower, rakes, brooms, shovels, hose, chain saws, and other grounds maintenance tools and equipment.
- Clean and perform routine maintenance on grounds maintenance equipment and tools. Repair fences and asphalt; mix and pour cement.
- Use and operate grounds maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Learn methods in the performance of general grounds maintenance and ground reconstruction work.
- Maintain positive and open communication with staff and management.
- Demonstrate appropriate judgment when solving problems and making decisions.
- Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the position and an understanding of the game of golf.

Our clients are groups of friends or fellow country club members who are headed abroad for a golf trip.
- One of the two largest golf tour operators servicing Scotland. Scotland is the #1 destination worldwide for the traveling golfer. The third largest golf tour operator servicing Ireland/Northern Ireland (the #2 destination worldwide).
- An official distributor of tee times for the St Andrews Old Course, arguably the most famous golf course in the world and certainly the oldest.

Job Description
- Inside Sales
- Comfortable making 20-40 calls per day
- Ability to close deals and collaborate with internal teams as thereβs many moving parts to the business. Organization and email communication management is paramount..Β
- This roleβs responsibility is converting incoming leads to a completed sale. Our customers generally come to us to plan their dream golf vacation. We do not require cold calling or pushy sales tactics, but rather our approach is simply to be knowledgeable and informative to those seeking to select a company to arrange their trip. Our industry is competitive, and we strive to offer a level of service second to none and delivered with the utmost professionalism. We sell our reputation and level of service.
- This position is 100% in office (i.e., not hybrid or remote). Full-time, Monday through Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm. Alternative schedule is Tuesday through Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm plus Saturday 8am to 5pm.Β
- Training takes about 2-3 weeks depending on previous knowledge and aptitude.

JOB SUMMARY Entry level management position that supervises and coordinates the day-to-day activities of employees engaged in preserving grounds and keeping golf course turf in playing condition.

General Objective of the Role
Support the development of Ecorobotixβs turf-care system through collection of high-quality turf imagery and environmental data to support AI model training and validation. The Regional Turf Data Technician is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with golf courses, sod farms, sports fields to assess whether their facilities have the type of data that we need to photograph and obtain any permits needed to collect those photographs. The Regional Turf Data Technician will need to produce high quality and variety of images of desired turfgrass species and document pests based on business needs. This individual will work outdoors to ensure regular monitoring of turfgrass and associated pests within their geographical area.
Reporting Lines & Interactions
Reports Turf Data Team Manager, Turf Division. This role will collaborate with the AI and Crop Vision team as well as Turf Data Quality teams to ensure they are achieving data quantity and quality goals. The Regional Turf Data Technician will also collaborate with other members of the pre- and after-sales teams of Ecorobotix Inc. as required to scout for data collection locations. Externally, interaction with dealers, superintendents, turf farm managers, and athletic facility managers on turf facilities or at regional association meetings and trade shows is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Become data project specialist for your assigned region
- Collect turfgrass imagery according to defined protocols
- Operate and maintain camera and field data systems
- Work with sales team to collect data at turf facilities in assigned region
- Assist with analysis of future turfgrass model data collection and methods to improve data collection work flow
- Up to 70% required travel within given territory with occasional travel outside of territory based on business needs.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in managing turfgrass field research data collection.
- Familiarity with turf management, turf weeds or agricultural imaging.
- Bachelorβs degree in turfgrass science, agronomy or horticulture
- Two or more years of experience in turfgrass management (e.g. golf course, lawn care, sports field, sod farm management)
- Have a strong knowledge or interest in turfgrass management and pest management
- Knowledge of IT tools (tablets with internal software, smartphones) to manage communications and necessary data.
- 2+ years of experience interacting with turfgrass managers
- Must have a clean driving record
Experience/Skills
- Technical proficiency with sensors and data tools.
- Ability to travel up to 70% and work outdoors in varying conditions in their region.
