Job Summary and QualificationsThe Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. - Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management, including reassessments after appropriate intervention.

- Performs exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests. Strives to anticipate patient needs and resolve them proactively.

- Graduate of accredited nursing school, ADN or BSN required.
- Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation,
- American Heart Association (AHA) BLS required. Current AHA ACLS to be obtain within 90 days of hire; NIH Stroke training to be completed successfully within 90 days of hire; TNCC REQUIRED within 6 months of hire. ENPC REQUIRED within 6 months of hire. PALS is Preferred.
- 1-year minimum ER experience preferred.
