Owned and operated by industry veterans Robert Ahlers and Christy Ogletree Ahlers, the gallery offers a comprehensive array of auction services and a variety of bidding experiences both in-person and online.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Full-Time Lead Auction Cataloguer to oversee catalogue production, research, describe, and prepare objects for auction catalogues, and manage a growing team of cataloguers responsible for researching, describing, and evaluating fine art, antiques, jewelry, and estate property. This role is not a library or data-entry cataloguing position - it requires art historical knowledge, aesthetic judgment, and experience describing artworks, antiques, and decorative arts for sale.
The Lead Cataloguer will supervise a team of cataloguers and work collaboratively with the inventory, sales, and operations departments to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and consistency throughout the pre-auction process. Suitable candidates combine deep expertise in art, antiques, and decorative arts with exceptional writing skills, leadership ability, and strong organizational discipline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day cataloguing operations, including workflow management, staff supervision, and deadline adherence.
- Assign lots and manage team workload; mentor cataloguing staff and provide feedback to maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinate with Inventory, Photography, and Operations teams to ensure smooth property flow through intake, research, and production.
- Manage cataloguing timelines, quotas, and departmental priorities to ensure on-time catalogue completion.
- Research, write, and edit detailed catalogue entries and condition reports, serving as the department’s primary quality control lead.
- Review cataloguer research, descriptions, and condition reports for accuracy, consistency, and quality. Maintain consistency in voice, formatting, and terminology across all catalogues.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Business Development team to align cataloguing priorities with consignor commitments and deadlines.
- Liaise with Inventory, Sales, and Operations departments to manage property flow and resolve logistical issues.
- Work with Photography and Marketing teams to optimize catalogue presentation and listings.
- Participate in auction previews, assisting clients and verifying the accuracy of displayed lots.
- Support auction-day operations, including bidder registration and phone/online bidding as needed.
- Contribute to special projects, off-site auctions, and promotional events as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Required background: Minimum 3-5 years experience cataloguing fine art, antiques, or decorative arts in an auction house, gallery, or museum setting (lead or senior cataloguer experience preferred). Applications without relevant art or auction experience will not be considered.
- Required background: Minimum 1-3 years experience managing a team.
- USPAP certification preferred; ISA or ASA accreditation a plus.
- Proven ability to manage and motivate a small creative and technical team.
- In-depth knowledge of fine and decorative arts, antiques, and furniture, with strong valuation and research skills.
- Exceptional written communication and editing ability, with mastery of cataloguing standards.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross-departmentally with operations, photography, inventory, and marketing teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and relevant auction or cataloguing software.

Position Summary
The Director of Marketing is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all print and digital marketing for five Ahlers Group companies. This position requires a seasoned, strategic marketer with a refined luxury sensibility, strong digital and SEO expertise, and experience managing multi-channel campaigns in a high-end and/or auction environment. This position will report directly to the President/CEO.
The role combines strategic planning, hands-on execution, and leadership, and includes managing internal staff and external vendors. The Director of Marketing will also represent the company publicly at auctions, previews, galas, art fairs, and industry events.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy, Leadership & Execution
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with company goals across all Ahlers Group brands
- Ensure brand consistency, tone, and visual standards across print, digital, and social platforms
- Collaborate directly with executive leadership on marketing priorities, budgets, and performance goals
- Manage and mentor a growing marketing staff and interns
- Coordinate with internal specialists, consignments and operations teams, and external creative partners
- Conceptualize and create digital ads, direct mail, email campaigns, signage, and promotional materials
Digital Marketing & SEO
- Lead and implement SEO strategy to increase organic visibility, traffic, bidder registrations, and consignments
- Oversee and create website content, analytics, paid search, paid social, and email marketing campaigns
- Define and oversee social media strategy across platforms, including content planning, campaign development, audience growth, and performance analysis, while delegating some day-to-day content execution.
- Manage performance tracking, reporting, and ongoing optimization across all digital channels
- Ensure best practices for content, keyword strategy, and digital user experience
Brand Management & Representation
- Plan and manage marketing for auctions, previews, private viewings, and client events
- Represent the company at galas, art fairs, and industry functions, building relationships and reinforcing brand presence
- Support public relations efforts, media outreach, and brand storytelling initiatives
Analytics & Performance Tracking
- Analyze campaign performance and audience data to guide strategy and maximize ROI
- Present regular performance summaries and recommendations to leadership
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in luxury marketing
Qualifications
- Minimum 7–10 years of progressive marketing leadership experience, with demonstrated responsibility for strategy, execution, and performance oversight
- Hands-on experience creating, managing, and optimizing Google Ads / AdWords accounts, including keyword research, bid strategy, audience targeting, conversion tracking, and performance reporting
- Proven expertise in SEO strategy and keyword development, particularly within niche or high-value markets
- Direct experience marketing within the auction, fine art, antiques, jewelry, luxury goods, or closely related high-end sectors - strong familiarity with collector audiences and consignor acquisition strategies a plus
- Demonstrated ability to build and execute auction or event-driven marketing campaigns with measurable results (registrations, bidder acquisition, consignments, revenue growth)
- Deep understanding of digital ecosystems including Google Analytics, Meta advertising, email automation platforms, and CRM integration
- Strong command of brand positioning within a luxury environment - ability to maintain elevated presentation across print, digital, and in-person channels
- Experience managing internal marketing staff and external creative vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the polish required to represent a high-end brand publicly
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or industry certifications (Google Ads, Analytics, etc.) preferred

About the Role
The Meta Strategist will own the end-to-end strategy, execution, and optimization of GLD’s paid social advertising across Meta platforms (Facebook & Instagram). While you’ll own Meta as your primary channel, you’ll work collaboratively with other Performance Marketing team members on cross channel strategy, reporting, and planning contributing to a larger growth strategy rather than operating in a silo.
You will partner closely with Creative, Retention, E-commerce, and Analytics teams to develop thumb-stopping ad campaigns across TOF (top-of-funnel) and BOF (bottom-of-funnel) objectives, optimize audience strategies within Meta’s Andromeda ML framework, and build reporting systems that keep leadership informed and the team accountable. Success in this role is measured not only by performance metrics, but also by creative partnership, strategic thinking, and your ability to elevate the broader team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Meta Campaign Management & Andromeda Optimization
- Develop, launch, and manage full funnel Meta ad campaigns across TOF prospecting, BOF retargeting, and retention objectives.
- Own daily optimizations at both granular (ad, ad set) and high-level (campaign, account) viewpoints to maximize performance.
- Leverage deep understanding of Meta’s Andromeda ranking system to optimize ad delivery, auction competitiveness, and signal quality.
- Structure campaigns and ad sets to work with Andromeda’s ML-driven optimization, including strategic use of Advantage+ campaigns, broad targeting, and signal enrichment.
- Continuously test and refine bidding strategies, audience segmentation, and conversion events to maximize ROAS and reduce CPA.
- Stay current on Meta platform changes, algorithm updates, and beta features; proactively adapt strategies accordingly.
2. Creative Strategy & Content Analysis
- Collaborate with the Creative team and recommend new concepts, formats, and messaging angles based on performance insights.
- Build and write creative briefs independently, translating performance data and strategic priorities into clear direction for designers and content creators.
- Analyze creative performance data to identify winning concepts, hooks, formats, and messaging themes across TOF and BOF.
- Build and maintain a creative testing framework with clear hypotheses, naming conventions, and documentation.
- Monitor creative fatigue and proactively plan refresh cycles to sustain performance.
3. Data Analytics & DOMO Reporting
- Build and maintain DOMO dashboards to track Meta performance across KPIs including ROAS, CPA, CTR, hook rate, hold rate, and thumbstop ratio.

4. Cross Functional Partnerships
- Act as the primary liaison between Performance Marketing and Creative, Retention, E-commerce, and Ops teams.
- Coordinate with Retention/CRM on audience list management, suppression strategies, and lifecycle alignment.
- Collaborate with E-commerce to align ad messaging with site promotions, product launches, and seasonal campaigns.
- Share learnings and best practices across paid media channels (TikTok, Google, Snapchat) to maintain a unified growth strategy.

Job Summary
The Scheller College of Business at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, seeks applications for a research-focused Postdoctoral Fellow in Information Technology Management (ITM). The initial appointment is for one year and may be renewed for up to two years, depending on satisfactory performance. The postdoc can begin as soon as January 2026 or as late as August 2026 we are happy to accommodate the timeline that works best for the selected candidate.
The role involves close collaboration with the ITM area faculty on mutually selected research projects. Two preferred areas of focus for our group are:
Studying the application of LLMs in online multisided platforms, such as the design and optimization of LLM-powered advertising mechanisms, and strategic interaction between platform participants. We are particularly interested in how LLMs influence user engagement, attention allocation, and economic outcomes on digital platforms, including auction-based advertising markets and dynamic information environments.
Developing economic frameworks for data valuation and privacy in business applications, including topics such as federated learning, copyright-preserving generative models, data marketplace pricing, and incentive-compatible privacy mechanisms. This line of research aims to connect information economics, machine learning algorithms, and market design, to address practical concerns in decentralized data governance, trustworthy machine learning, and platform strategy.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include :
- Work on high-impact research projects, from conceptualization, data collection, and data analysis to manuscript preparation and publication.
- Teach one 3-credit course each year.
- Perform related services based on the needs of the ITM area
Required Qualifications
- A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in information systems, economics, management science, computer science, statistics, operations, or other related quantitative and/or social science domains
- The degree must completed by the position start date. For example, ABD (All but dissertation) candidates must have successfully defended their dissertation no later than July 1, 2026 for an August 1, 2026 start date.

- Track and approve bulk raw material submissions from vendor and suppliers.
- Reconciles any bulk rejections with cross functional teams and Sr production manager in a timely manner.
- Place blanket trim orders with core trim supplier on seasonal basis to avoid MOQs.
- WIP report maintenance. Establish and manage clear tracking on all bulk shipments to ensure on time delivery.
