Your role at Clorox:
The Senior Manager, Category Strategy is a critical role within the Procurement Strategy & Transformation organization, responsible for ensuring high‑quality, consistent, and actionable category strategies are developed, deployed, and sustained across Procurement ($4bn+ Spend). Reporting to the Associate Director, Procurement Strategy & Transformation, this role partners closely with Procurement Category Managers and cross‑functional stakeholders to shape category strategies, track progress against strategic objectives, and build strategic capability across the function.
The role acts as a thought partner, coach, and connector—raising the overall maturity of category strategy and enabling Procurement to deliver long‑term value for Clorox. This position bridges strategy development and execution by shaping how category strategies are built and governed while enabling Category Managers to translate strategy into sustained business impact.
In this role, you will:
Category Strategy Development & Governance
- Own and continuously improve Clorox’s Procurement category strategy framework, tools, and standards.
- Partner with Procurement Category Managers to develop, review, and refresh category strategies across direct and indirect spend.
- Ensure category strategies are actionable, data-driven, and clearly translated into execution roadmaps.
- Lead strategy review and governance routines, including progress tracking, milestone management, and benefits realization.
- Provide strategic challenge and guidance to strengthen the quality and impact of category strategies.
Strategic Enablement & Capability Building
- Act as a coach and thought partner to Procurement Category Managers, elevating strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Design and deliver training, tools, and playbooks to improve category strategy development and execution.
- Share best practices, external benchmarks, and leading-edge thinking from procurement and supply chain strategy.
- Support change management efforts to embed strategic ways of working across the Procurement organization.
- Support adoption of new tools, processes, and transformation initiatives within the Procurement function.
Cross-Functional Partnership & Influence
- Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, R&D, Marketing, and other stakeholders to ensure category strategies reflect business needs, risks, and opportunities.
- Prepare clear, compelling strategic materials and presentations for senior leadership forums.
- Influence to drive alignment and decision-making across a matrixed organization.
Insights, Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Leverage internal data and external market intelligence to inform category strategy development.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across supply markets and translate insights into strategic recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to continuously improve category strategy effectiveness and execution rigor.
What we look for:
- 7+ years of demonstrated experience in management consulting, procurement, supply chain, or strategy roles.
- Experience at a top-tier or well-regarded consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, Bain, BCG, Kearney, Oliver Wyman, LEK), ideally focused on procurement or supply chain strategy.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution required, MBA or advanced degree preferred

Within EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution sub service line, our Software Strategy Group (SSG) team members conduct primary and secondary research, synthesize and analyze data, build and test hypotheses, and deliver strategic advice to our clients to help them make informed decisions. Your key responsibilities
As a Senior Associate/Consultant with EY-Parthenon's Strategy and Execution Software Strategy Group, you will be responsible for leading work streams translating client needs into project tasks and deliverables. Senior Associates/Consultants manage day-to-day problem-solving and team analytical activities, and serve as key liaisons between consulting team members, Directors, Senior Directors, Partners, and our clients.

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $130,000 to $185,000. The Associate Manager, Portfolio Strategy & Planning will contribute to the strategic development, storytelling, commercialization and execution of retail initiatives across retail channels. Key responsibilities for this position include:
Strategic Thought Leadership
- Contribute to the development of the Stonyfield Sales Strategy, utilizing point of sale data, shopper insights and trends. Partner with the Field Sales team to tailor strategy across customers - prioritizing innovation based on assortment gaps, regional trends, and internal capabilities.
- Manage Innovation Plan, working collaboratively with Marketing to ensure the right innovation is developed and shepherded through the commercialization process. Ensure critical sales deadlines are met without sacrificing the quality of the proposition.
- Utilize category management skills to develop fact-based sales presentations employing brand research to include customer and consumer syndicated data such as AC Nielson, IRI, Spins. Incorporate this information into on-going planning and decision making for focus brand(s).

About The Role
CarMax sources hundreds of thousands of vehicles each year through consumer purchases, auctions, and other channels. Each vehicle goes through a complex journey from acquisition through reconditioning and logistics before it's ready to be sold to customers. The Supply Chain Strategy team leverages data, analytics, and strategy to optimize this journey, ensuring we purchase an optimal mix of cars, recondition those cars efficiently, and move them through our network to support growth of our retail sales.
There are several sub-teams on Supply Chain Strategy who focus on different parts of the vehicle lifecycle. As a Sr. Analyst in Supply Chain Strategy, you will work with business partners in our Product, Technology, and Operations to help drive the supply chain business forward on a team focused on one of these areas:
- Consumer Supply Strategy – Works to optimize how we acquire vehicles directly from consumers through our digital and omnichannel processes
- B2B Strategy – Works to enhance the way we exchange with other businesses through selling at our auction or buying directly from third parties
- Merchandising Strategy – Works to ensure we can evaluate and buy vehicles through all channels through efficient and effective operations
- Logistics Strategy – Works to optimize vehicle movement throughout our network and balance the tradeoff of cost and speed

What You Will Do – Essential Responsibilities

About The Role
CarMax sources hundreds of thousands of vehicles each year through consumer purchases, auctions, and other channels. Each vehicle goes through a complex journey from acquisition through reconditioning and logistics before it's ready to be sold to customers. The Supply Chain Strategy team leverages data, analytics, and strategy to optimize this journey, ensuring we purchase an optimal mix of cars, recondition those cars efficiently, and move them through our network to support growth of our retail sales.
There are several sub-teams on Supply Chain Strategy who focus on different parts of the vehicle lifecycle. As a Manager in Supply Chain Strategy, you will work with business partners in our Product, Technology, and Operations to help drive the supply chain business forward on a team focused on one of these areas:
- Consumer Supply Strategy – Works to optimize how we acquire vehicles directly from consumers through our digital and omnichannel processes
