Electronics Supervisor
We are seeking an experienced Electronics Supervisor to lead the electrical operations of a high-volume rod mill. This role is responsible for overseeing the electrical department, troubleshooting complex industrial systems, and ensuring reliable equipment performance to support safe, efficient steel production.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the electrical team and oversee day-to-day electrical operations within the rod mill
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving PLCs, drives, motors, sensors, and other industrial electrical equipment
- Monitor electrical systems impacting production and product quality while minimizing downtime
- Provide leadership, training, and coaching to electrical technicians and apprentices
- Support safety programs, enforce work rules, and ensure compliance with plant procedures
- Collaborate with maintenance and production leadership to address operational issues and improve reliability
Qualifications
- 5+ years of heavy industrial electrical or electronics experience
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in an industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC systems, motor controls, PLCs, drives, and industrial automation
