Construction Estimator
Job Description
A well-established commercial General Contractor is seeking an Estimator to join their team in the Philadelphia area. The company has a strong pipeline of projects and specializes in K-12 and healthcare construction, with project sizes ranging from $5M–$150M.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects
- Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate pricing
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor proposals
- Assist with scope reviews, bid leveling, and project handoff to operations
- Support projects delivered through GMP and Lump Sum contracts
Qualifications
- Experience estimating commercial construction projects
- K-12 and/or healthcare project experience preferred
- Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with subcontractors and internal teams
