What you'll do...

* Ensure adherence and compliance to the Ford Production System (FPS) Key Unifying Processes (KUP)
* Understand and consistently apply standard manufacturing operating systems and principles.
* Enforce compliance with Safety Operating System practices to achieve zero injuries.

* Use Andon data to prioritize efforts to achieve 100% flow.

* Ensure production systems meet objectives through Process Design and FMEAs
* Work with plant and Manufacturing Engineering personnel with appropriate timing and installation documentation, to ensure efficient/timely installation and validation.
* Ensure the identification and capture of lessons learned along with their application to new programs, as well as the impact to existing strategies and standards.
* Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other automation problems.

Essential Functions:

This Program Cost Control Analyst position will, under minimal supervision, interface with the program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements.

The Program Cost Control Analyst will have experience with Earned Value Management and performance measurement baseline concepts and be able to apply them to multiple contracts for control accounts within an engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT).  This position will be responsible for leading and training other analysts if full level 1 Earned Value contracts.

Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks include:

  • Establishing Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled

  • Assessing and maintaining of objective performance criteria – developing, maintaining, analyzing and justification of estimates to complete

  • Supporting internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis and budgeting baseline

  • Maintaining a solid and accurate cost and schedule integration with business partners and program teams

  • Analyzing funding, cost risk analysis/assessment and visibility reports - Preparing government cost performance reports and preparation and/or review of Performance measurement variance analysis

Additional responsibilities will include:

Perform analysis & prepare reports in order to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines. Provide internal reporting requirements to include incorporation of forecast, identification of staffing issues related to baseline/ETC, and execution of corrective action or updates using program reporting tools.  This position will interface with Business Managers and support booking rate files and profitability updates.  Good leadership skills & the ability to work with the Program Office while leading a smaller team are essential.

As ALKEME continues to scale nationally, we are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Loss Control Specialist to support clients, internal teams, and carrier partners in developing effective safety and risk management programs. This role provides leadership, guidance, and practical support to help organizations reduce risk, improve workplace safety, and maintain regulatory compliance.


The Loss Control Specialist partners with client organizations and internal stakeholders to conduct safety inspections, develop safety programs, facilitate training, analyze claims trends, and promote strong safety cultures. This role serves as a trusted advisor to clients and helps ensure alignment with carrier expectations and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities

1. Safety Programs & Compliance

  • Develop and maintain resources that support carrier loss control programs, including safety handbooks, HR policies, drug and alcohol programs, and DOT compliance programs.
  • Collaborate with clients to create safety programs, procedures, and documentation tailored to their operational needs.
  • Ensure OSHA logs and workplace compliance postings are properly maintained.
  • Assist clients in establishing safety committees and internal safety procedures.


2. Training & Workplace Safety

  • Facilitate OSHA and workplace safety trainings both internally and for client organizations.
  • Support and administer Fork Truck Certification compliance requirements.
  • Provide guidance to clients on maintaining safe work environments and implementing best practices.


3. Site Inspections & Audits

  • Conduct job site inspections and safety reviews on a regular basis.
  • Perform onsite audits related to loss control and workplace safety services.
  • Identify safety concerns and provide recommendations for corrective actions.


4. Claims Support & Analysis

  • Support claims services by maintaining reports and documentation related to claim activity.
  • Participate in mid-year and annual experience modification (MOD) reviews and analysis.
  • Assist in identifying trends that may impact loss performance.


5. Client & Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong working relationships with clients, carriers, coworkers, and vendor partners.
  • Respond to client inquiries related to safety and loss control matters.
  • Communicate effectively and contribute to a collaborative work environment.


6. Documentation & Systems

  • Maintain accurate electronic client files within the Agency Management System.
  • Utilize agency systems and software to manage documentation, forms, and client records.
  • Process incoming client communications including phone calls, emails, and documentation requests.


7. Additional Responsibilities

  • Stay informed on industry trends, legislation, safety regulations, and coverage changes.
  • Recommend operational improvements that enhance efficiency and service delivery.
  • Promote company values and maintain regular attendance.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by agency leadership.


Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • OSHA Trainer certification preferred or ability to obtain certification.
  • Minimum of five years of professional experience in a related environment preferred.
  • Knowledge of insurance markets and carrier requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
