Job Description
Join our team as a Sheet Metal Mechanic where you will be responsible for the installation of duct work, including HVAC sheet metal, spiral duct, and oval duct systems. The role involves reading blueprints and installing overhead duct and spiral duct, as well as handling rooftop cut-ins and units with slip & drive duct work.
Responsibilities:
- Install duct work, including HVAC sheet metal, spiral duct, and oval duct systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints for efficient duct installation.
- Perform rooftop cut-ins and install rooftop units.
- Handle slip & drive duct work installations.
- Collaborate on duct work design and layout for HVAC systems.
Essential Skills:
- Proficiency in HVAC systems and sheet metal installation.
- Expertise in duct work and HVAC equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- OSHA 30 + 10 certification (SST 40).
- Experience with exhaust fans and duct connections.

Job Type & Location:
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn, NY.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
