Position Overview: The Director of Co‑Manufacturing is a senior leadership role responsible for defining and executing the company’s co‑manufacturing strategy across a growing network of external manufacturing partners. This role owns the end‑to‑end governance, performance, and scalability of the co‑manufacturing network, ensuring alignment with enterprise growth objectives, brand standards, food safety requirements, and financial targets. This role is directly accountable for enabling revenue growth, protecting EBITDA, and de-risking supply through the scalable expansion and performance management of the co-manufacturing network.
The Director serves as the executive owner of all co‑manufacturing relationships, providing strategic direction, operational oversight, and cross‑functional leadership to ensure reliable supply, optimized cost structures, and continuous improvement across the network. Responsibilities:
Co‑Manufacturing Strategy & Network Leadership
- Define and lead the enterprise co‑manufacturing strategy, including network design, capacity planning, and long‑term partner roadmap aligned to business growth and portfolio expansion.
- Establish a scalable operating model for co‑manufacturing that supports multiple product categories, technologies, and geographic regions.
- Evaluate make‑buy decisions, capacity investments, and external manufacturing risks to support executive‑level planning and decision‑making.
- Lead the identification, qualification, and strategic selection of new co-manufacturing partners.
- Establish a clear co-manufacturing operating model, including decision rights, governance cadence, escalation paths, performance management routines, and cross-functional ways of working with Quality, Planning, Procurement and Commercial.
Partner Governance & Executive Relationships
- Own executive‑level relationships with all co‑manufacturing partners, setting expectations for performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Provide strategic oversight of commercial agreements, contracts, and compliance to ensure alignment with operational, financial, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead partner performance governance, including formal business reviews, escalation management, and corrective action planning.
- Serve as the primary executive escalation point for supply, quality, cost, or compliance issues within the co‑manufacturing network.
Performance, Planning & Financial Accountability
- Establish and oversee standardized KPIs and performance management frameworks across all co‑manufacturing partners, including:
- On‑Time In‑Full (OTIF)
- Schedule Attainment
- Yield / Production Loss
- Cost, throughput, and service performance
- Drive working capital optimization, cost of goods improvement, and productivity initiatives across the network.
- Own the co-manufacturing cost agenda, driving measurable improvements in COGS, tolling costs, conversion efficiency, and working capital tied to external manufacturing.
- Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to ensure accurate forecasting, capacity commitments, and financial transparency.
- Leverage ERP, planning, and analytics systems to provide enterprise‑level visibility into co‑manufacturing performance and risks.
Quality, Compliance & Risk Management
- Provide executive oversight of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory compliance across all co‑manufacturing partners.
- Ensure robust audit, qualification, and monitoring programs are in place and consistently executed.
- Lead risk identification and mitigation strategies related to supply continuity, quality, capacity, and regulatory exposure.
- Champion a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across internal teams and external partners.
Organizational Leadership & Capability Building
- Build, lead, and develop the Co‑Manufacturing team, including managers, analysts, and functional support roles as the network scales.
- Establish clear roles, processes, and governance models to support effective cross‑functional collaboration.
- Drive talent development, succession planning, and organizational capability aligned with long‑term business needs.
- Act as a visible leader within Operations and Supply Chain, influencing enterprise priorities and ways of working.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Food Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, co‑manufacturing, supply chain, or operations leadership within the food & beverage industry.
- Demonstrated experience leading external manufacturing networks at scale, including strategy, governance, and financial performance.
- Deep knowledge of food safety, quality systems, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SQF, GFSI, HACCP).

The Co-Manufacturing Supply Chain Supervisor will play a key role in launching and sustaining Kevin’s emerging Co-Manufacturing (Co-Man) network. Our client, a fast-paced leader in product development, is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to join their very busy team. The Manufacturing/Process Engineer will support the transition of products from engineering to manufacturing and will be responsible for bringing new products from Design Verification build to Pilot Production. Additionally, the Manufacturing/Process Engineer will support the design, installation, and operation of production processes, including sheet metal fabrication, foaming of refrigeration enclosures, heat pipe assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, and performance testing. They will also collaborate with engineers in Design for Manufacturability to transition new products from Design Verification builds into Manufacturing Validation builds and Mass Production, as well as work in a multidisciplinary production and development team.

FK Instrument is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing Estimator to join our growing team. This role is responsible for evaluating customer RFQs, developing efficient manufacturing plans, and preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates for precision machined components.
You’ll play a critical role in securing new business while ensuring projects are quoted profitably and aligned with our shop capabilities. This position works closely with engineering, production, and supply chain teams in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.
What You’ll Do
- Review customer RFQs, blueprints, and 3D CAD models to assess manufacturability and define project scope
- Develop efficient manufacturing process plans, including operation sequencing
- Estimate setup times, cycle times, labor, and machine utilization using CAM software and historical data
- Prepare detailed cost estimates covering materials, labor, machine time, tooling, outside services, and overhead
- Source pricing for raw materials and subcontracted services (heat treating, plating, grinding, finishing, etc.)
- Identify manufacturing risks (tight tolerances, complex geometries, difficult materials) and incorporate into estimates
- Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations to ensure alignment with shop capabilities and capacity
- Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotes
- Track awarded jobs by comparing estimated vs. actual costs and lead times to improve accuracy
- Monitor and analyze KPIs such as quote turnaround time and win rates to drive continuous improvement
- Maintain accurate records of quotes while ensuring confidentiality of customer and company data
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5+ years of hands-on CNC machining experience (setup and/or programming)
- Experience with ERP/estimating systems and CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Mastercam)
- Strong understanding of machining processes, tooling, and materials
- Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and GD&T with a high level of accuracy
- Experience factoring in material lead times, supply chain constraints, and cost fluctuations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple quotes under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams

Position Summary: Plans, directs, and coordinates the work activities and resources necessary for manufacturing products in accordance with cost, quality, and quantity specification. Reviews processing schedules or production orders to make decisions concerning inventory requirements, staffing requirements, work procedures, or duty assignments, considering budgetary limitations and time constraints. Supervises the daily operation of a machine shop, repair/fabrication facility and electronic or mechanical assembly personnel in the repair and/or manufacturing of mechanical systems, fabrication of engineering models and assemblies, electronic or other hardware in accordance with engineering specifications, quality requirements, within cost/budget restraints and on schedule. Ensures continuous efficient production in desired quantity and quality. Assures that there are adequate materials, supplies, tools, and equipment. Monitors work in process to ensure efficient flow. Assist in determining manpower and skills needed so those schedules are maintained. Reviews operations and confers with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems. Coordinates or recommends procedures for facility or equipment maintenance or modification, including the replacement of machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain departmental day-to-day production activities, monitor and prioritize workflow and schedules.
- Supervise production staff and give technical direction.
- Assist in hiring, training and reviewing performance of staff.
- Ensure product is in compliance with customer standards and ensure fulfillment goals.
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance.
- Check production output according to specifications.
- Submit reports on performance and progress.
- Coordinates and monitors manufacturing projects from initiation through delivery.
- Identifies and allocates project resources.
- Ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
- Resolves issues and contributes to the business unit/area development.
- Monitors and maintains department productivity and budgets.
- Ensure effective employee relations. Provide employee coaching and development. Makes employment decisions. Resolve employee issues through problem resolution.
- Balance quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Work to continuously improve in all areas.

Qualifications:
- Experience and Education:
- 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Technical Skills:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge in a variety of mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
- Knowledge of location and proper use of maintenance/facilities, tooling, supplies and equipment
- Able to read and interpret schematics and blue prints
- Comfortable operating heavy equipment and power tools
- Forklift certification
- Mastery of basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and fractions)
- Problem solving abilities
- Ability to use calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to get along with co-workers and be a team player
- Understand and obey safety requirements
- Commitment to keep work area clean and free of debris
