Your roles and responsibilities will include:
Environmental & Utility Monitoring Program Development
- Design, implement, and validate environmental and utility monitoring programs aligned with global regulatory standards (FDA, EMA, USP, EP, JP).
- Establish sampling procedures and select monitoring points based on risk assessments, facility design, and product requirements.
- Interpret microbiological data using statistical tools and recommend improvements.
Contamination Control & Process Microbiology
- Serve as the site’s SME for contamination control strategy and aseptic best practices.
- Provide input on facility design, material/personnel flow, and contamination risk mitigation.
- Establish robust contamination prevention procedures for manufacturing processes.
- Perform microbial identification testing and lead microbiological deviation investigations (e.g., OOS, OOT, OAL).

QC Microbiology Oversight & Readiness
- Establish and refine microbiological QC testing practices and protocols.

Compliance & Audit Support
- Ensure alignment with cGMP and international microbiology regulations.

Training & Knowledge Transfer
- Develop and conduct microbiology training for cross-functional teams.

They are building out the full asset register for the site and need a junior-level Field/Asset Verification Engineer to help verify and tag 30,000+ pieces of HVAC and facilities equipment.
This is a hands-on, field-focused role – not a traditional validation protocol-writing or protocol-execution position. You’ll spend most of your time in the plant and utility areas, walking down equipment, tagging assets, and entering data.
What You’ll Do
- Walk down HVAC and facilities equipment (mechanical and electrical) throughout the facility.
- Use P&IDs and equipment lists to locate and correctly identify equipment in the field.
- Read and capture nameplate data (manufacturer, model, serial number, ratings, etc.) from equipment.
- Assign and apply asset tags to each verified piece of equipment.
- Enter and maintain equipment information in Excel-based asset data sheets (asset number + nameplate data).
- Potentially use barcode scanners or tablets in the field for tagging and data capture, as project tools are rolled out.
- Support basic problem solving when equipment in the field does not match drawings or existing lists (e.g., mismatched IDs, missing tags), by documenting and escalating discrepancies to the onsite engineering team.

Job Duties
- Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the care for designated patients. Recognizes the need for and initiates collaboration/communication with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and takes actions to proactively resolve patients needs.
- Synthesizes available data, information, and knowledge relevant to the situation to make decisions which optimize patient outcomes based on ANA Scope and Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics. - Demonstrates commitment to quality and safety, in accordance with established policies and procedures, utilizing evidence-based practice. Participates in evidence-based practice and research projects as applicable.
- Uses effective and appropriate verbal and non-verbal communication styles with patients, significant others, visitors, staff, and professional colleagues.
- Coordinates and provides patient and family education throughout treatment course to facilitate an effective transition of care.
- Functions as a department team member to support unit and hospital goals and objectives. Participates in all phases of the performance improvement process, including organizational and unit-based patient experience goals.
- Performs validated technical skills based upon clinical specialty and unit practice.
- Utilizes technology and incorporates technology to optimize alternative modes of care delivery.
- Demonstrates leadership and team building skills including:
- Teaching and mentoring new colleagues and department interns. Additional precepting, as assigned.
- Delegating on the basis of skills and expertise of team member, acuity and specific needs of the patient, and time availability of team members.
- Providing input as requested for performance appraisals of care delivery team members.
Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
- Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice.
- Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in the delivery of patient care.
- Successful completion of additional orientation programs related to specialty.
- Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies.
- Basic computer skills.
- BLS - Basic Life Support AHA - American Heart Association Upon Hire
- RN - Licensed Registered Nurse_PA - State of Pennsylvania Upon Hire
- 2 years relevant RN experience.
- BLS, ACLS certifications.
- Stroke certification.
- Completion of a dysrhythmia course.
- Completion of critical care course such as ECCO or have CCRN certification.
- Completed Trauma course or TNCC certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Nursing.
- Travel experience highly preferred.
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 40-50 lbs. Examples: Push/pull patients on bed, stretcher (requires 29 lbs. push force), lateral transfers up to 50 lbs. of the patient's weight. Frequent to continuous standing/walking. Patient transporters can walk 8-10 miles per shift. *Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
