- Porterville Development Center Porterville Developmental Center (PDC), is located on approximately 670 acres in Porterville California, opened in 1953 and currently serves people with developmental and intellectual disabilities in a general treatment area and separate secure treatment program.

PDC is one of four State-operated facilities within the California Department of Developmental Services serving people with developmental disabilities.

PDC provides 24-hour residential services for individuals 18 years or older who have serious medical and/or behavior problems for which appropriate services are not currently available through community resources.

PDC is licensed by the California Department of Public Health to provide general acute medical services, skilled nursing services, and intermediate care services.

The majority of individuals served at PDC have an intellectual disability and many have severe chronic medical or behavioral problems.

Job Responsibilities


  • Advise on the CRH Category tree (internal taxonomy based on e-class structure) and manages the master mapping of the CRH category tree to all local ERPs within Snowflake. Understands the CRH and local taxonomies and has the ability to work with the businesses to handle initial mappings as well as updating when required
  • Works with other PPR, divisional procurement and ERP owners to constantly identify areas for data quality improvement. Proactively improves data quality within their control and provides the analysis and specific data to colleagues in areas where action is needed from others (accurate classification of invoices & PO’s)
  • Collaborates with the businesses to understand additional data needs and works across the PPR team and with internal IT partners to ensure additional data sources are integrated and necessary analytics and dashboards can be provided from the data
  • Analyses data set to provide insights to Procurement community
  • Builds Tableau dashboards with existing data sets in Snowflake to support the category teams and divisional teams
  • Provides ad-hoc support to category and divisional teams for specific analysis, as required
  • Provides ad-hoc analysis & support to Procurement leadership
  • Working with IT and approved AI solutions, utilizes AI to enhance value from our data and provide to the Procurement community


Job Requirements


  • He or she is educated to a bachelor’s degree level
  • 5 or more years’ experience, preferably in international setting

Maintain trees, shrubs, groundcovers and flower beds (planting, fertilizing, mulching, watering, pruning, etc.)

Job Duty 2 -
Transport equipment and personnel via motor vehicle to and from job sites.

Job Duty 3 -
Perform lawn maintenance to include mowing, line trimming, edging, aeration, fertilization, lime application, etc.

Job Duty 4 -
Maintain landscape and grounds; clear debris, trash, branches and leaves, remove ice, empty trash receptacles, clean storm drains and ash urns

Job Duty 5 -
Apply integrated pest management principles to maintain the Institute's lawn, trees, shrubs, groundcover, and flowers, through cultural practices and chemical use.

Job Duty 6 -
Perform routine maintenance of equipment to include pressure washers, blowers, weed eaters, etc.

Job Duty 7 -
Complete daily grounds maintenance reports.

Job Duty 8 -
May provide or assist in training to new employees.

Job Duty 9 -
Perform other duties as assigned
