Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare, manage, and adhere to departmental budgets and oversee resource allocation and equipment purchasing.
- Act as a liaison between the respiratory department, physicians, nursing staff, and hospital administration.

Key Requirements:

About the Role
Must have a working knowledge of both the administrative and the technical aspects of the Respiratory Therapy Department. Capable of directing personnel to perform in a smooth and efficient manner. Capable of running all aspects of the Respiratory Department. Job Summary
The OP Home-Based Physical Therapist is responsible for providing a full range of physical therapy services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. - Provides therapy to include but not limited to muscle strengthening and stretching, gait training, ADL training, use of adaptive and other equipment and management of orthotic and prosthetic devices.
- Performs initial and periodic evaluations and progress notes of patient's physical therapy and rehabilitation needs.
- Formulates appropriate treatment plans including short- and long-term goals for rehabilitation, evaluating progress or lack of progress in achieving these goals.
- Completes accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation (evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, discharge summaries, etc.) according to department and payer guidelines for outpatient services.
- Instruct patients and caregivers in activities to be carried out between treatments, using clearly written, concise instructions to reinforce verbal instructions when appropriate.
