The physician will perform a wide range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, supporting both inpatient and outpatient services with a focus on biopsies, drain placements, and vascular interventions.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform a wide range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for both inpatient and outpatient services.
- Manage a diverse procedural mix including biopsies, drainage procedures, vascular access, GI, GU, and oncology-related interventions.
- Conduct CT and ultrasound-guided biopsies (lung, thyroid, renal, liver, bone, lymph node, bone marrow).
- Execute drain placements and management (abscess drains, chest tubes, drain exchanges).

- Interpret radiological images and provide consultative input to referring providers
- Participate in standby night call rotation and weekend coverage as scheduled
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, technologists, and other clinical staff
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all procedures and findings
