Howmet Fastening Systems is looking for a Machine Tech III, Screw Machine in our Fullerton, CA location.
Specific Responsibilities:
- With minimum assistance from Lead, the operator will perform all standard set up within standard time on router; operating, troubleshooting, and machine service as required.
- Adjust machining parts, tooling, including sharpening tools on surface grinders or pedestal grinders.
- Set-up and operation of equipment - Multiple Spindle (Davenport/Chucker).
- Responsible for producing and maintaining high level quality parts per print specifications.
- Work with various types of material such as Titanium, Aluminum, and other stainless steel.
- Perform first piece verification process per part print as required.
- Run multiple machines as required which maintaining high quality parts, efficiency, and productivity per standard time on router.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance per daily schedule.
- Take initiative to perform daily 5S in assigned area and machinery.
- Active involvement in autonomous maintenance and process improvements initiatives.
- Understand and perform statistical process control.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet facility goals.
- Follow EHS Policies, Procedures, and report all incidents/injuries immediately.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-years' experience operating machinery.

This is an entry level position into the Cargo Assembly group. Individuals will work under the direct supervision of a Manufacturing Team Leader. This position is responsible for performing assembly operations as detailed in the Manufacturing Order and engineering drawing, functional testing of product, and kitting/packaging of hardware for shipment. Individuals must be quality oriented, able to work in a team environment, and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
What You Will Do:
- Reads, interprets and follows blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
- Operates hand tools, air tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
- Maintains inventory of product in workstations

Salary and Pay Transparency
Salary range for this position is between $75,000 and $111,000. - Coaching and developing less experienced instructors, conducting Train-the-Trainer sessions to qualify additional instructors
- Monitoring stakeholders' operating environment and key business measures to continuously improve training effectiveness
- Emphasizing safety precautions in all training provided while maintaining a positive and productive learning environment
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop creative training enhancements, guided skills practices, job aids, and activities that support learner success
- Identifying and validating training effectiveness through observation, measurement, testing, and analysis to ensure learning objectives are met
Must Have Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations and/or manufacturing support, with demonstrated expertise in specialized technical areas
- US Citizen
- Ability to work onsite in Everett, WA
- Proven experience as a coach, instructor, or employee development specialist with the ability to lead and mentor others
- Experience in designing and employing leadership development courseware and/or curriculum
- Specialized knowledge in one or more aerospace disciplines such as Structural, Electrical, Repair, Functional Test, Seal, or Systems
- Experience working with detailed work instructions and interpreting complex blueprints and drawings
- Strong background in needs assessment, job analysis, and performance improvement methodologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
- Demonstrated project management capabilities with a track record of delivering educational initiatives on time and within scope
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and technical backgrounds
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $76,200.00 - $187,740.00

Job Summary
Howmet Aerospace has an immediate opening for a Machinist at our Engines Products - Brecksville Operations, the Tempcraft facility. This position is responsible for the mechanical construction of our molds and dies. This work requires the application of standard mold making techniques, procedures, and criteria.
This is a 2nd Shift position working Monday-Friday from 9 pm - 5:30 am.

Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting the construction of several products concurrently.
Interpret design blueprints to determine die / mold making plan.
Perform operations within very close tolerances.
Have their own tools and toolbox
Ability to inspect own work.
Ability to work with Engineering and Programming throughout the manufacturing process
- Able to operate multiple machinery; (Bridge Port, Grinders, Saws, EDM).
- Comply with Corporate EHS, Quality and HR rules and standards.
