Position Summary

Toro Construction Corp is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our General Contracting Division. This individual will play a key role in supporting project management teams through all phases of construction and assisting with the estimating process for upcoming work. Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of assigned projects and tasks, reporting directly to Project Managers or Division Leaders.
• Assist with bid preparation, including quantity takeoffs, subcontractor outreach, and proposal assembly under the direction of senior staff.
• Review and evaluate Change Order Requests for accuracy and scope alignment.
• Coordinate, track, and manage project submittals and RFIs to ensure timely response and project continuity.
• Communicate effectively with project teams and external partners regarding submittals, ASIs, RFIs, and other construction documentation.
• Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to keep projects on track.
• Perform basic quality control duties and assist in ensuring work performed meets specifications and standards.
• Support material procurement and documentation processes.
• Participate in job site meetings and assist with daily reporting and project tracking.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in construction project support or estimating preferred (internships considered).
• Strong understanding of construction documents and processes.
• Familiarity with construction software such as Bluebeam, Procore, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, Platform Engineering, or production systems operations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Foundational experience supporting distributed systems in production.
• Ability to write scripts or tools in Python, Go, Bash, or similar languages.
• Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking basics, and system performance fundamentals.

As a Sr. Data Engineer, you will play a key role in implementing

role contributes to AMA's modern lakehouse architecture, optimizing data

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Engineering & AI Enablement

• Build and maintain scalable data pipelines and

• Review, verify, and document compliance of MEP systems with design specifications, URS requirements, and regulatory standards
• Inspect electrical equipment installations and wiring methods to ensure adherence to approved designs and local code requirements
• Validate installation quality and ensure alignment with vendor specifications and engineering standards
• Review instrument calibration certificates and ensure proper documentation of calibration activities
• Perform loop testing and support commissioning activities for electrical and instrumentation systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and project management to ensure seamless project execution
• Identify and report deviations, non-conformances, and recommend corrective actions
• Support documentation processes including validation protocols, reports, and compliance records
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with safety, quality, and regulatory guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or regulated industries
• 5+ years of experience in MEP engineering within capital projects or industrial environments
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and wiring standards
• Experience with installation verification, commissioning, and validation processes
• Familiarity with regulatory standards, codes, and compliance requirements (e.g., NEC, GMP environments preferred)
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of URS (User Requirement Specifications) and validation lifecycle
• Prior experience working on large-scale capital or greenfield projects
• Certification or training in Six Sigma, Quality Assurance, or related disciplines
