We operate on a hybrid work model that includes three days onsite and two days working from home. New employees should expect to spend additional time in the office during their training period before transitioning to the standard hybrid schedule.
Some travel to client sites may be required, particularly during client training sessions or go live activities, though it is not frequent. Our work supports supply chain execution, which is a time sensitive and mission critical environment.
Purpose of the Job
The Project Manager supports the successful delivery of customer implementation projects from initial planning through go-live. In this role, you will coordinate project activities, maintain timelines, monitor budgets, and ensure all quality standards are consistently met. Working closely with the Senior Project Manager and the Director of Project Delivery, you will manage key deliverables, facilitate communication across internal teams and customer stakeholders, and proactively identify and resolve risks or issues.

In this role, you will be actively involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, including implementation, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support. The Opportunity:
The Enterprise Systems Manager is responsible for the design, administration, maintenance, and performance of the core systems utilized at the College of Medicine and affiliated entities; to include customized consumption of university core resources, as well as uniquely owned system and services for the college. Acting as Unit Leader, the role will provide direct oversight of daily activities, own escalated incident resolution, champion system implementation efforts, and manage relationships with relative technical partners and vendors.
Responsibilities:
Operations, Systems Administration, and Technical Management:
Act as Health Information Technology Enterprise Systems unit leader, overseeing the planning, architecture, installation, implementation, and maintenance of the core and unique systems and services for the College of Medicine and affiliated programs.
Supervise Systems Administrators, providing guidance over daily activities; including hiring, training, development, task assignment, and coaching.
Perform high-level systems activities to maintain workload balance and service escalated tasks.
Ensure systems/services are appropriately maintained, meeting operational expectations, and align with security standards.
Own the protection against technical vulnerabilities, as well as investigation and mitigation of incidents

Research and advise trends in technical innovation, related to healthcare, medical education, and biomedical research.
Set Annual/long-term unit goals, capture and present unit/system performance metrics, seeking opportunities to improve efficiency.
Maintain currency and communicate the Health IT Service Catalog for Enterprise Systems, pertaining to standardization of services, softwares, and devices offered and supported.
Outreach, Education and Training:
Represent Health IT at college/university/external technical committees/forums. Seek opportunities to increase efficiency(software licensing, economies of scale procurement, standardization, redundancy in efforts and resources.
Build and strengthen open collaborative relationships between all university IT units, AHSC Departments, and health partners to align efforts across organizations, ensure transparency, manage expectations, as well as create awareness and a sense of common purpose.
Coordinate strategic efforts between stakeholders in the development and enforcement of department, college, and university policies, procedures, and best practices.
Maintain advanced working knowledge and competency for unit, respective to current and future state of the college's systems, through regular research, forum monitoring, educational programs, and conference participation.

Responsibilities- Perform duties as task lead to ensure that vendor threat mitigation (VTM) and contingency support (CS) program development, implementation, monitoring and reporting are executed in a timely and professional manner to the client's satisfaction.
- Support client efforts to develop and institutionalize VTM capability within DoD and in collaboration with the whole of government.
- Support supply chain risk management program development efforts.
- Provide support to government organizations such as the OSD Staff, the Joint Staff, and the Combatant Commanders in the areas of Operational Contract Support and Vendor Threat Mitigation to ensure enterprise wide efficient, cost-effective end-to-end performance.
- Work with a diverse set of stakeholders in geographically disbursed areas.
- Analyze and assess DoD and other government agency logistics and supply chain policies and procedures against current performance metrics and make recommendations on policy and/or process improvements.
- Provide administrative and technical writing support for the successful maintenance and update of DoD and other government agency operational contract support and vendor threat mitigation issuances and directives.
- Plan the logistics and facilitation of large-scale working groups (+100 attendees) with interagency partners with both virtual and in-person meeting sessions. This includes the development of agendas, presentations, white papers, meeting summaries, rosters, and other items.
- Track actions/taskings related to VTM lines of effort; support the review of vendor threat mitigation processes and policies; and maintain VTM distribution lists and rosters.
- Develop and publish agenda, meeting summary, and draft talking points for government client(s) and senior leadership.
- Conduct outreach with other DoD and interagency personnel with a high degree of professionalism.
- Provide administrative and technical writing support for the successful maintenance and update of DoD and other government agency operational contract support and vendor threat mitigation issuances and directives.
- Prepare and finalize correspondence including letters, memoranda, briefings, speeches, presentations, meeting minutes, and reports. Maintain communication mediums including distribution lists, rosters, and SharePoint sites.
- Schedule internal and external meetings, including reservation of conference space, notification to attendees, parking requests, visitor access control and all arrangements from set-up to completion.
- Maintain confidential or sensitive information and documents.
- Performs liaison with staffs of high-level government officials, private industry, special interest, and user groups. Responds to inquiries on policy and other matters on behalf of and consistent with the government lead's views.
- Master's degree in logistics, business analytics and/or other sustainment background is preferred.
- 10 years relevant experience required.
- Strong understanding of supply chain risk management principles, tools and methodologies.
- Knowledge of logistics and transportation operations.
- Prior military or DoD civilian/contractor experience (preferred).
- Understanding of OSD and DoD organizational structure.
- Demonstrated ability to use MS Office Suite to include Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
- High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to effectively interact with senior executives from Government and industry as well as Pentagon staff members.
- Ability to create and foster a cooperative work environment.
- Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
- This position requires an active security clearance at the TOP SECRET level. You must be a US citizen.
Targeted Salary Range - $108,000 - $150,000
