We are currently looking for a Civil Project Engineer who is ready to engage in a large alternative delivery (CMGC) project in Los Angeles County. This project is a multi-year project that will widen the 105 freeway from the 405 to the 605. This widening will increase HOV capacity, reduce congestion along the corridor and introduce tolling to the 105. Phase one of the project is starting at $400 Million, and the remaining phases will push the project towards $1.1 Billion. This is a great opportunity to join the team as we are building the first phase and prior to the project breaking ground on the second phase and contribute to the success of this critical project to improve mobility ahead of the 2028 Olympics.
The ideal candidate is capable of thinking outside the box, understands multi-staged construction projects, is detailed oriented with experience in heavy civil construction. The position is directly accountable for the safety, financial performance, and team development on site.
This position will integrate with the project’s structures team that focuses on bridges, walls, shoring and foundations. Your role on the structures team will depend on your desires as well as strengths and previous experience. In addition to self-performing various scopes on the project the structures team will also cultivate and maintain strong relationships with the subcontractors, and suppliers as well LA Metro, Caltrans and the Construction Managers staff.
