This is a skilled position involving the safe and efficient operation of ready-mix trucks. Deliveries will be made in both industrial and residential areas. The driver is responsible for the efficient working condition and cleanliness of equipment and is expected to perform minor servicing and maintenance or refer major problems to the supervisor. Drivers will be expected to assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment in and around the ready-mix plant as per supervisor's instruction. Extensive contact with the customer requires honesty, a high level of integrity, reliability, a good work ethic and a positive attitude. Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environment and areas.

Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Production Mechanic/1st shift based in Buffalo, New York.Summary: Responsible for a variety of tasks that requires knowledge and/or ability to learn both production equipment and major utility systems. Will work closely with a Class 3 Mechanic or mentor. This is a training/apprentice level. Ability to progress and desire to learn of high importance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. PM's will be done on a daily basis.
2. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment in production operations, utilities, buildings & grounds, etc.
3. Maintains machines with respect to bearings, assembly, disassembly, power transmission, rigging, and lubrication.
4. Effectively completes bench work utilizing common hand tools.
5. Learns to do rudimentary pipefitting of water, steam, and air lines with steel, plastic, and copper pipe materials.
6. Performs routing preventative maintenance on designated equipment. Will assist upper class mechanic on major overhauls. Learns to identify potential issues and reports these to the necessary persons.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in work required.
8. Clear communication abilities, written and verbal.
9. Knowledge of computer software helpful.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong HVAC required.
- Previous food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Mechanical experience necessary, electrical abilities necessary.
- Stationary engineers/ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.
- Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities / Job Duties:
Velocity Rail Solutions drivers are paid to be fully loaded with red-dyed diesel to fuel trains on an 'On-Call' basis by the Railroad. The Railroad pays to have dedicated trucks and drivers on duty 365 days a year. This includes Weekends and Holidays so that you can receive consistent paychecks. You are paid for a total 12 hours including breaks, lunches, and wait time for dispatches. That's right, you are paid for all On-Duty' hours, regardless of what you are dispatched for!
Requirements/Qualifications:
· Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements required.
· Must meet all refinery carding requirements and always maintain current refinery certifications
· Must be able to clear all background checks required by the company, customer, and government.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- CDL DRIVER WILL Drive a 24-foot or smaller truck for the CAP OC Food Bank to donor food/vendor pick-up sites and/or food distribution sites in Orange, Los Angeles and Riverside counties following scheduled routes.
- WILL Provide initial contact with food donors at pick-up site and complete food donor receipts.
- will Unload and/or load food products in the Food Bank and at other sites.
- Weigh and store food products properly, by packaging, labeling, sorting, and shelving items in compliance with health codes and department procedures while following basic food safety practices.
- Regularly participate in the direct distribution of food boxes to low-income participants at a member agency or at various distribution sites in Orange, Los Angeles, and Riverside counties.
- Operate a forklift and other power and manual equipment to move heavy objects and assist in the proper maintenance of equipment.
- Assist in the maintenance of vehicles and general housekeeping of the warehouse including disposal of inedible food items, cleaning coolers/freezers and sinks, sweeping and organization of market.
- Work with partner agencies, volunteers, donors and participants, and may direct the work of volunteers in the Food Bank.
