  • Seals to include gaskets, packing, and \"O\"-rings, lips & labyrinth, mechanical, tightness testing.
  • Valve work: leak testing, seat types, packing/gasketing/lubrication, lapping, seat types (materials and types).
  • Propellers to include Keyed, Tapered, Flanged & Key fits- Solid and Built, CPP Systems, Polishing.
  • K. Pumps to include Valving (internal & external), Bearing & Sealing arrangements, Alignment (dial indicator & laser).
  • Deck machinery: gear boxes, bearings/seal arrangements, alignments, drivers (electric, mechanical, or hydraulic), sheaves, cables, turrets, booms
• Instruct lower classes of machinists, manage work/personnel assignments and the requisition of job materials.

Position Purpose:

The CDL A Driver & Crane Operator at SRS Building Products ensures safe, efficient transport and delivery of building materials to job sites. Responsibilities include operating trucks, cranes, and forklifts; performing DOT-compliant inspections; coordinating with rooftop loaders; and maintaining accurate documentation. The role also involves customer interaction and warehouse support to uphold service and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely deliver building materials within a 200-mile radius, following DOT regulations and company policies.
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, operate cranes and forklifts, and coordinate with rooftop loaders to ensure accurate, damage-free deliveries.
Verify inventory, document deliveries with photos, and assess job sites for safety risks.
Provide excellent on-site customer service and support warehouse and yard maintenance.

Direct Manager Direct Reports:

Reports directly to the Assistant Branch Manger or Operations Manager.

Travel Requirements:

This role requires frequent travel within a 200-mile radius for material deliveries, with all trips starting and ending at the home branchensuring drivers return home daily with no overnight stays.

Physical Requirements:

Position Summary

The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies along with Federal and State regulations and delivers all freight undamaged. Work as a team player to deliver, load/unload materials while providing a world class customer service experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation. Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites. As a driver with Nittany Energy you will deliver, load and unload heating oil, diesel and gasoline in a safe and timely manner while providing outstanding customer service.

Driver Responsibilities:

• Deliver fuel products to our residential and commercial customers
• Work directly with the Plant Manager / Dispatcher each day for scheduling and delivery details
