CNC Programmer

Senior CNC Programmer – 5 Axis Gantry Milling (NX Required)

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer with direct experience in large-scale 5-axis overhead gantry milling and Siemens NX. This is a specialized role, only candidates with relevant experience in large-format machining and advanced programming will be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Program complex 5-axis machining operations using NX (Siemens NX CAD/CAM)
• Work with large-scale overhead gantry milling machines
• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs for high-precision parts
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Support setup and machining processes to maintain quality and performance

Required Experience

• Proven experience with large-format 5-axis gantry milling
• Strong proficiency in NX CAD/CAM programming
• Experience with complex tooling, composites, or large-part manufacturing
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes

• Dougherty Manufacturing
