Essential Job Functions:

  • Provides accurate cost estimating services for incoming quotes regarding tanks, pressure vessels, piping, skids, controls, instrumentations and other custom-engineered equipment.
  • Analyze RFQs, specifications, and drawings to determine scope, materials, labor, and timelines.
  • Interpret and modify Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and Process Flow Diagrams (PFD).
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to ensure accurate and feasible estimates. Interpret and incorporate customer requirements and industry standards into estimates.
  • Utilize Infor Syteline ERP system for BOMs, costing, and quote tracking (preferred).

  • Value Engineering: Participate in value engineering efforts, providing alternative cost solutions, methods, and approaches to optimize profitability and meet client needs.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the ongoing development and refinement of estimating tools, databases, and best practices to drive efficiency and accuracy.
  • Mentorship and Training: Support the professional development of junior estimators and project staff through knowledge-sharing, coaching, and training initiatives.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all estimate assumptions, pricing, and supporting data for internal review and audit purposes.

Qualifications:

Brunel is currently searching for a Concentrate Leach Plant Manager for direct hire with our mining client located in Morenci, Arizona.


In this role you will manage a Pressure Oxidation plant that processes copper sulfide concentrate in order to produce sulfuric acid for heap leaching operations and copper cathode by hydrometallurgical means. This role is accountable for safe plant operation, metallurgical performance and production outcomes.


Duties include:

  • Managing day to day operation of the Concentrate Leach facility in order to safely optimize economic copper production.
  • Ensure that safe operating practices are in place for all major tasks and that personnel have been properly trained and understand the tasks assigned to them.
  • Teach all plant personnel to recognize risks and take appropriate actions. Ensure that effective controls are in place to mitigate all identified critical risks.
  • Ensure that maintenance schedules are appropriate, and SOPs are correct and up to date for all maintenance tasks.
  • Ensure that all plant personnel understand the basic metallurgical practices that govern pressure oxidation and can use this knowledge for safe and efficient plant operation.
  • Coordinate with the Mine and Concentrator departments to understand changes in the mineralogy of Concentrate Leach plant feed.
  • Coordinate with oxygen plant personnel regarding plant operation schedule and oxygen needs.
  • Coordinate with the Leach and Hydromet departments with regard to concentrate leach acid and copper production targets and provide foresight regarding potential disruptions.
  • Prepare and adhere to quarterly and annual budgets.
  • Prepare fund-request justifications for plant upgrades.
  • Become a subject-matter-expert in copper sulfide pressure leaching and build a team with a strong understanding of the technology and its potential future benefits.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor degree (preferred in Metallurgical or Chemical Engineering) and 10 years of metallurgical plant operational experience, including supervisory or management experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of copper smelting, hydrometallurgical and leaching operations, including the thermodynamic and kinetic principles that are the foundation of these technologies.
  • Knowledge of mining and mineral processing technology, specifically the impacts of copper, iron, and gangue mineralogy on processing operations.
  • Leadership skills, including supervising, evaluating, training and motivating employees.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, direct and manage a diverse number of operational areas, projects and activities.
  • Skilled in preparing, defending, monitoring and administering budgets.
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing in English.
  • Experience with plant maintenance, including adhering to maintenance schedules preferred.

Job Summary:

The Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Clinical Nurse (WOCN) functions under the direction of the Nurse Manager and provides acute and rehabilitative care for people with select disorders of the GI, GU and Integumentary systems. The WOCN serves as a resource to nursing and medical staff and is responsible for delivering in-depth, comprehensive patient care in complex multiple problem patient care situations. The WOCN can independently perform job functions.
The WOCN is a licensed caregiver who practices in a competent manner, upholds the voice of the patient, system policies and procedures while supporting service excellence goals in the clinical environment that employs a shared governance model. Determines type and frequency of wound/ostomy care provided to the patient using their expert judgment, including modifications as the patients condition changes
* Upon receiving physician order for consult, marks patients for ostomy surgery, selecting the best and alternative sites for the surgeons consideration, provides education to the patient and family pre- and post-op and guidance for psychosocial, sexual and body image adaption to promote optimal client outcomes.
* Performs the Nursing Process (assessment; diagnosis; identification of outcomes; planning; implementation and evaluation) in the performance of clinical care using evidence-based practice; analytical/critical thinking insuring that care is individualized; coordinating care through effective partnerships; caring is central to achieve optimal patient care outcomes

* treatment that is consistent with existing policies and Healing Strategies within his/her scope
* of practice and documents all aspects of that care.
* Monitors and ensures the proper delivery of treatment gas as ordered.
* Monitors the patients continually during treatments for symptoms of oxygen intolerance, claustrophobia, hypoglycemic reactions, decompression sickness or any other adverse reaction to HBO treatments.
* Under the direction of the program manager or designee, appropriately intervenes in the
* event of an adverse reaction and follows established protocols.
* Demonstrates competence in reinforcing age specific patient and family education on
* common topics related to the HBO therapy and related underlying disease processes.

* The WOCN serves as clinical expert in various hospital committees, community groups and organizations (United Ostomy Association, Diabetic Outpatient Clinic and local home care agencies); leads outcome evaluations including quarterly NDNQI pressure ulcer prevalence; participates in improvement initiatives related to WOC nursing practice; evaluates and develops product formularies and algorithms to support best practices for the prevention and treatment of wound, ostomy and continence conditions and facilitates the needs of the bariatric population with specialty bed management.
