Summary/objective
The Spanish Instructor provides instructional support to participants enrolled in the TRIO Upward Bound Classic Program Summer Academic Institute at Southern University at New Orleans (SUNO). Upward Bound is a federally funded college preparatory program designed to increase the high school graduation and postsecondary enrollment rates of first-generation college students and students from limited-income backgrounds.
The Spanish Instructor delivers engaging instruction in Spanish language fundamentals including speaking, reading, writing, and cultural literacy, while reinforcing academic preparedness necessary for college success. Instruction is provided to high school students participating in the two-month summer residential/academic program, which simulates a college learning environment.
The instructor contributes to the academic enrichment and college readiness mission of Upward Bound by supporting program participants in developing language skills, critical thinking abilities, and cross-cultural awareness.
Grant-Funded Position Statement
This position is 100% funded through the federally sponsored TRIO Upward Bound Classic Program administered by the U.S. Department of Education.
Employment in this position is contingent upon the availability of grant funding and programmatic needs. The appointment is temporary and limited to the Upward Bound Summer Academic Program, typically conducted during the summer session.

Work environment

PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging, and comprehensive training to healthcare professionals in both ACLS and PALS courses in the Virtual Education and Simulation Training (VEST) Center, ensuring adherence to the latest American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines and protocols.

We're seeking an Internal Travel Medsurg / Acute Clinical Instructor serves pre-licensure nursing students by providing clinical instruction, acting as a preceptor, and being a resource for colleagues. They advocate strongly for patients and families. Recognized as a clinical expert and role model, the instructor applies the nursing process and evidence-based practices to meet the complex care needs of specific patient populations.
The responsibility for the Internal Travel Medsurg / Clinical Instructor includes, but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide instruction, supervision, and evaluation of pre-licensure nursing students in various settings including clinical, lab, and simulation environments.
- Deliver educational experiences in collaboration with nursing faculty and leadership based on approved course syllabi, objectives, outlines, and assignments.
- Supervise and evaluate groups of pre-licensure nursing students in clinical, lab, and simulation settings.

Primary Purpose of Position
Demonstrates mastery of skills and extensive subject matter knowledge in carrying out assignments associated with the analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, and proposed modification of plant specific maintenance and technical training programs (Chemistry, Engineering, Maintenance: Electrical, Instrumentation, and Mechanical, and Radiation Protection).
Primary Duties and Accountabilities
- Drives the clean energy center (CEC) and personnel performance improvement through the use of training. - Participates in CEC support activities, i.e. outage support, root cause support, line assessment support.
- Assures the training programs are maintained current and incorporate information gained from Institute of Nuclear Power Operations (INPO) Significant Operating Experience Reports and Constellation Nuclear Event Reports (NERs), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) Bulletins and Information Notices, CEC design change and backfit information, CEC procedure changes and revisions, new regulations, and training effectiveness reports.
- Support CEC and fleet in the areas of business initiatives, project management, refuel outage support, emergency preparedness duties, and special projects.
- Supervises the collection and maintenance of auditable training records and reports required to document training program activities.
- Participates in NRC, INPO and management audits, and prepares responses to audit findings.
- Maintains knowledge of plant operations, disciplinary skills and techniques, commensurate with the responsibility to develop and conduct effective, high-quality training.

The Opportunity
The College of Nursing at the University of Central Florida (UCF) invites applications for multiple full-time, 9-month, non-tenure earning faculty positions in the Department of Nursing Systems at the rank instructor or lecturer. The selected candidates will primarily teach in the online RN-BSN program, and other online courses in our graduate programs, as qualified. The positions will be located on the UCF Academic Health Sciences Campus at Lake Nona and are expected to start Fall 2026. The appropriate rank (i.e. instructor, associate instructor, senior instructor, lecturer, associate lecturer, or senior lecturer) will be determined based upon the selected candidates' credentials and prior experience.
The selected candidates will work collaboratively with colleagues, remain actively involved in professional organizations, and actively participate in College of Nursing faculty governance.

College Community Responsibilities: a) Support of College Policies and Procedures * Maintain confidentially as per state and federal regulations to include but not limited to Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA) laws.
* Effectively manages, and/or supports department director with, the departmental budget and work closely with MATC staff to ensure that all assets, materials, supplies, etc., are properly managed and documented per college policy and procedures.

* Engagement with state meetings (KBOR) as requested regarding compliance of curriculum of program discipline. c) Contribution to the Growth and Enhancement of College Mission and Programs * Communicate effectively with staff, students, and the public the mission and operation of Manhattan Area Technical College and the specific program.
* Cooperate with other members of the MATC staff in planning instructional goals, objectives, and methods.
* Assist in the operation and management of MATC through effective planning and communication with administration and all staff personnel.
* Assist in the selection of resource materials and equipment and make facility improvement recommendations. d) Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor *Qualifications:** Registered Nurse (current Kansas license in good standing with no disciplinary action pending) required.
* Master’s degree or higher in nursing, or evidence of enrollment and plan for completion of Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) program within six (6) years required.
* Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in clinical nursing required with recent clinical experience preferred.
* Maintain nursing licensure and specialty certifications as appropriate.
* Maintain Kansas State Board of Nursing requirements for teaching in ADN.
* Provides proof of appropriate health records for clinical instruction: Hepatitis B series (three (3) doses) or proof of one (1) positive titer.; Varicella (two (2) doses) or proof of immunity by titer.; MMR (two (2) doses) or proof of immunity by titer to: Rubeola, Rubella, Mumps; Documentation of tetanus vaccine within the last ten (10) years; Proof that the candidate does not have active tuberculosis; Record of annual influenza and COVID-19 vaccines.

We are seeking a Senior Robotic Simulation Engineer with deep, hands-on expertise in building high-fidelity simulation environments and synthetic data pipelines using NVIDIA Isaac Sim or similar.
In this role, you will directly contribute to the development of scalable, realistic virtual worlds that power the training and validation of robotic foundation models for perception, planning, and manipulation.
At GM’s manufacturing technology development team, you’ll work closely with robotics and AI teams within the Manufacturing Technology Development (MTD) team to create simulation scenes that replicate complex manufacturing environments, generate diverse synthetic datasets, and build robust data workflows that accelerate model development and deployment.
Key Responsibilities • Build and customize simulation scenes in Isaac Sim that accurately reflect real-world robotic tasks and factory layouts • Develop synthetic data generation pipelines, including randomized object placement, sensor simulation, and multi-modal annotations (RGB, depth, segmentation, point clouds) • Implement and maintain data processing workflows, ensuring data quality, traceability, and compatibility with ML training pipelines • Optimize simulation performance and realism, tuning physics parameters, asset fidelity, and rendering configurations for scalable experimentation • Collaborate with robotics engineers and ML scientists to align simulation outputs with model requirements and support sim2real transfer • Conduct hands-on testing and debugging, iterating on simulation setups and synthetic data strategies to improve model robustness • Document workflows and contribute to best practices, enabling reproducibility and knowledge sharing across teams Required Qualifications • MSc or PhD in Robotics, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, or related field • 3+ years of hands-on experience in robotics simulation, synthetic data generation, or virtual environment development • Proficiency with Isaac Sim, Omniverse, or similar simulation platforms • Strong programming skills in Python and C++, with experience in simulation APIs and data annotation tools • Familiarity with 3D vision, sensor modeling, and domain randomization techniques • Experience integrating simulation outputs into ML pipelines for training and evaluation Preferred Qualifications • Experience with robotics frameworks (e.g., ROS/ROS2, MoveIt, Nav2) • Experience with robotics simulation platforms (e.g., IsaacSim, MoJoCo, Gazebo) or Game engine (e.g., Unreal, Unity) • Background in industrial automation, autonomous vehicles, or robotic manipulation • Publications or contributions in simulation, synthetic data, or robotics venues (e.g.
