About the Role

This position is involved in the complete software configuration life cycle and is responsible for ensuring that software meets CarMax® quality standards. This position will play a key role in transforming our Auto Finance business resulting in an iconic customer experience.

What you will do

• Learn and adhere to the CarMax® software configuration methodologies while deploying new functionality, enhancing existing features, and supporting applications.
• Learn CarMax Auto Finance business processes and how those processes are implemented in the team’s applications to provide resolution to support problems as they arise.
• Maintains and supports the applications and technologies used by the configuration team, configure software capabilities with high quality standards and leverages existing software, patterns and best practices.
• Provides system support being available on and off hours to provide systems support, troubleshoot system issues and effectively assess support problems and respond with the appropriate level of urgency.

Purpose of the role

This position will perform technical configuration in one or more of the company systems used to operate our Auto Finance business. This associate will have the basic knowledge and technical expertise to configure business processes in the systems, performing according to company expectations and are delivered within company expectations. Associates in this position must have a basic knowledge and the ability to deploy configuration principals and use that functional expertise to learn configuration, design patterns and databases for our company systems.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A 4 Year degree in an IT related course of study; 1 -2 years of application configuration preferred
• Ability to learn team software configuration concepts and techniques to create & deploy software and effectively communicate the design necessary for effective software development.
• Ability to learn and understand the following:
• Microsoft SQL Server scripting and Data models
• ARGO, ALFA and CEDAR configuration and concepts
• Company Software Configuration (ARGO, ALFA and CEDAR)
• Security and Data Protection, Security Compliance & Data Storage Solutions
• Reusable Code and Libraries
• Server Side Logic
• Authentication/Authorization and Unit Testing
• Automated performance testing
• Continuous integration
• Expertise in PeopleSoft Toolset preferred

Work Location And Arrangement: This role will be based out of Atlanta, GA CarMax Auto Finance Office (Kennesaw, GA). Associates will work onsite 5 days per week.

Position Summary:

Fashion brand PINK CHICKEN is seeking an ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER to join our flock and assist with the Raleigh boutique. This is an exciting full time opportunity for someone with retail experience and a passion for customer service to assist with managing the daily operations of the store including sales, customer relationships, visual merchandising and staffing.

The Assistant Store Manager is a brand ambassador tasked with supporting brand awareness and fostering a sense of community for customers and staff. They are responsible for supporting the store manager while leading through superb customer service, teamwork and achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Support the store culture and environment to drive success in all aspects of customer service, profitability, operations, associate development, and store presentation

• Contribute to achieving sales goals and building customer relationships, modeling strong clienteling practices

• Assist with customer outreach efforts and support initiatives to drive foot traffic to the store

• Maintain strong product knowledge to support sales associates and enhance the customer experience

• Assist with visual merchandising and help conceptualize and execute store window displays

• Provide input on store orders by sharing observations of customer behavior and local sales trends

• Support inventory management, including organizing back stock and restocking the sales floor as needed

• Assist the Store Manager with interviewing, training, and supporting sales staff development

• Provide guidance to sales associates on brand awareness and service techniques

• Support the Store Manager in establishing and maintaining positive community relationships

• Partner with the Store Manager to plan and execute in-store events

Qualifications

• 3+ years of retail experience preferred, with 1+ year of supervisory or leadership experience

•Demonstrated ability to drive sales while delivering excellent customer service • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to develop strong relationships

• Ability to be accountable and take ownership of actions in achieving goals

• Strong team building and leadership skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Thorough knowledge of retail store operations

• Ability to stand and walk continuously, ensuring mobility throughout all areas of the store and availability to assist customers as needed

• Must be able to frequently bend, lift, carry, and move merchandise and fixtures weighing up to 30 pounds as needed

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
