Job Summary

The Project Engineer is responsible for managing and directing capital engineering projects of varying size and scope throughout the project life cycle from concept to completion. The role focuses on ensuring the technical and engineering integrity of projects, driving innovation and efficiency in design and execution. • Field Installation and Commissioning: Oversee contractors and manage the field installation of processing systems. Ensure that equipment and workmanship meet or exceed project requirements, prepare reports, and manage change orders from start-up through commissioning.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests or Pre-Delivery Inspections at suppliers' sites as needed. Coordinate equipment start-up, commissioning, and training to ensure optimal performance.

This leader is responsible for the overall strategic design, financial modeling, governance, and control of all trade promotional funding and spending across every Foodservice channel of business. The Strategic Sourcing Manager US Comanufacturing, is an active member of the Purchasing Team North America (NA), participates in sharing purchasing excellence and strategies, supporting teamwork, joint learning and development initiatives. The incumbent will lead the North American sourcing strategy initiatives for an assigned Category. Under the guidance of the Associate Director procurement - US Comanufacturing, will assist in the execution of a supply strategy for managing Lactalis' US Comanufacturing network and will provide local support to Yogurt Business units across USA and Canada . The microbiology Lab Tech II supports the plant by promptly plating and reading samples all throughout the cheese-making process in a high-volume environment while maintaining a clean, organized, and stocked lab.

* Pick up samples at various locations throughout the plant and sort them for plating.

* Prepare samples for plating: weighing, diluting, stomaching, heating, etc.

* Prepare media: buffer, agar, broth, etc.

* Perform various plating methods: petrifilm, filtration, pour plate, direct plate, streaking, MPN.

* Read and accurately record various types of plates.

* Data entry: samples plated, tests performed, record results in various spreadsheets

* Communicate results to plant management via email, phone, face to face.

* Quality checks: temperatures on various equipment, autoclave sterilization, media pH, etc.

* Lab cleanup at the end of shift and various cleaning throughout the month.

6. Learn to identify potential issues and report these to the necessary persons.

6. Trains and learns most shop equipment and machinery.

7. Works with upper classification mechanic on job layouts and ordering of materials necessary to complete job.

8. Assists in troubleshooting and diagnosing most machine failures.

9. Prepares for work daily with complete set of hand tools as mandated by the supervisor's list.

The Production Manager is responsible for the overall management and direction of the department processes. Ensures manufacturing performance, volume and quality goals are met by utilizing efficient methods, along with maintaining appropriate staffing and labor cost levels. • Ensures quality assurance programs prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products.
• Ensures successful completion of department specific initiatives (e.g. capital projects).

• Assist the sensory scientists in designing, planning, and executing R&D sensory evaluations (discrimination, descriptive, hedonic/consumer tests).
• Coordinate panel scheduling, sample prep, and sensory session setup. * Recruit, train, and calibrate sensory panelists for descriptive analysis.
• Analyze sensory data using appropriate statistical methods (T-Test, ANOVA, PCA, cluster analysis, preference mapping).
