Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts (2-2, 3-2, 2-3)
* Night Shift: 5:50 PM - 6:20 AM

Qualified applicants will contribute the following:
* Operate and maintain ammonia refrigeration systems, boilers, steam, and compressed air systems
* Perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs
* Conduct daily ammonia system inspections and rounds
* Support equipment modifications and technical troubleshooting
* Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) and Root Cause Analysis activities
* Perform maintenance during both production and scheduled downtime
* Assist maintenance technicians and support training of new employees
* Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives
* Ability and willingness to work overtime, any shift, including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
* Plant operation is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Education:
* High school diploma or GED required
* 1-2 years of electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience or technical trade certification
* Basic computer proficiency
* Preferred experience with:
Ammonia refrigeration systems
HVAC, compressed air, electrical distribution, and steam systems
* RETA CARO or CIRO certification required or obtainable within 12 months
* Ability to use APR respirators and SCBA
* Ability to perform duties as part of a HAZMAT team

Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Dairy (Yogurt) Processor based in Brattleboro.
In this position, the employee is responsible for processing yogurt bases. Perform CIPs and periodic equipment cleaning to ensure the highest quality standards. Receive, test, and separate raw milk, then enter test results and milk load data into SAP. Perform all raw CIPs and cleaning tasks as needed to support departmental requirements while maintaining quality standards. Additionally, perform all pasteurizer operator functions and the other duties listed below.
Full-time opportunity.
Schedule:
12-hourshifts: 6 pm-6 am
Week One: 3 Days on 4 days off
Week Two: 4 Days on, 3 days off

- Must be able to operate processing equipment, adhering to all quality assurance, productivity, OSHA, and safety standards.

Lactalis American Group, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a 3rd shift Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician based in Belmont, Wisconsin. This position will require the ability to work in a team atmosphere as well as individually to repair, install, adjust, or maintain production and packaging equipment. This will also include equipment that is servo-mechanical as well as electro-mechanically operated. All work needs to be done in a clean sanitary manor as required in a food manufacturing plant. Candidates must be available to work weekends.

* Repair or maintain the operating condition of the equipment used in production and packaging of a dairy product
* Align, fit, or assemble component parts and hardware, using hand or power tools
* Observe and test the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions, using voltmeters or other testing devices
* Preform preventive maintenance functions such as cleaning, lubricating, adjusting, or replacing parts as needed per scheduled maintenance
* Operate newly repaired equipment to verify adequacy or repairs

* Test performance of electro-mechanical assemblies, using test instruments such as electronic voltmeters

* Record parts or materials used and ordered or requisition new parts or materials as necessary using Inventory management software
Candidate must have the following attributes/skills; strong attention to detail and accuracy, personal qualities of tact and dependability, possess good manual dexterity, vision abilities (close, distance color and ability to focus ), able to push/pull/lift and carry at least 50 pounds occasionally and 100 pounds with assistance, be able to stand for entire shift, be able to perform repetitive movements (e.g. twisting, gripping, lifting, bending, reaching, climbing) and must be able to work over 40 hours per week (weekends are required).

Pay: $35.75 to $39.40/hr + $2.50/hr 3rd shift premium, dependent upon skills and experience. Weekend premium: 20% more ($7.15/hour to $7.88/hour).

The Associate Maintenance Manager will be responsible for the safe maintenance, repair or replacement of plant equipment and systems, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the Company. This position will partner with the Maintenance Manager to manage the plant maintenance program based on best practices, with an emphasis on the planning/scheduling of preventive, and predictive maintenance to improve equipment reliability by reducing machine downtime and unscheduled maintenance.
The Associate Maintenance Manager will partner with the Maintenance Manager to manage maintenance employees on assigned shifts to ensure the effective delivery of maintenance services and support production. This includes planning, assigning, and directing work, addressing product and employee complaints and resolving problems. The Associate Maintenance Manager will carry out managerial responsibilities in accordance with Company policies, OSHA regulations and applicable laws.

- Maintains facility and assets to meet regulatory guidelines (USDA, FDA, OSHA, EPA).

- Partners with the Maintenance Manager to evaluate long-term needs in relation to major projects and plant improvements. Assists with the development of the capital program for equipment replacement in the plant.

- Develops corrective actions identified by key maintenance performance indicators to create overall equipment effectiveness.
- Coordinates line maintenance changeovers to meet production schedule and customer requirements.
- Ensures the completion of all paperwork including maintenance records, incident reports and investigations and others assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
- Maintains all technical documentation on PLC's, instrumentation, and equipment (blueprints, manuals, SOP's, maintenance procedures, PM's, inventory/parts purchasing).
- Manage, train, and develop maintenance team members?through mentoring/coaching and coordination of individual developmental plans. Partners with HR on employee relations issues.
- Communicate directly with the operations and quality teams to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
- Partners with site leadership team to reduce expenses which include labor, shrink, ingredients, packaging, supplies, inventory, maintenance and overhead to acceptable levels.
- Drives efficiency improvements by engaging maintenance team members, analyzing maintenance schedule of operations, key metrics and processes.
- Manages production downtime reports, determines opportunities and creates an action plan to increase efficiencies.

- 5+ years industrial maintenance experience within Dairy, Food, and/or Beverage industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Working knowledge of boilers, refrigeration, PLC's electrical, cooling towers, ammonia compressors and packaging equipment.

Lactalis USA, part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Production Mechanic/1st shift based in Buffalo, New York.Summary: Responsible for a variety of tasks that requires knowledge and/or ability to learn both production equipment and major utility systems. Will work closely with a Class 3 Mechanic or mentor. This is a training/apprentice level. Ability to progress and desire to learn of high importance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. PM's will be done on a daily basis.
2. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment in production operations, utilities, buildings & grounds, etc.
3. Maintains machines with respect to bearings, assembly, disassembly, power transmission, rigging, and lubrication.
4. Effectively completes bench work utilizing common hand tools.
5. Learns to do rudimentary pipefitting of water, steam, and air lines with steel, plastic, and copper pipe materials.
6. Performs routing preventative maintenance on designated equipment. Will assist upper class mechanic on major overhauls. Learns to identify potential issues and reports these to the necessary persons.
7. Attention to detail and accuracy in work required.
8. Clear communication abilities, written and verbal.
9. Knowledge of computer software helpful.
