Description:
The Director of Operations will oversee all production and facility operations at ALIGN Precision Philadelphia, ensuring seamless execution across precision machining, assembly, and cleanroom environments. This role will serve as the operational hub, coordinating with the Director of Planning & Delivery and Director of Quality to deliver on customer commitments while driving efficiency, safety, and culture. Reporting directly to the Site General Manager, the Director of Operations will translate strategic goals into daily execution and long-term capability building.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Production & Facilities
- Provide leadership to a staff of Production Supervisors and CNC Programmers.
- Lead machining, CNC programming, assembly, and cleanroom operations.
- In cooperation with the Director of Maintenance, oversee facilities management, equipment utilization, and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost targets are consistently achieved.
- Develop the operations and capital equipment budget.
- Champion 5S workplace organization.
Scheduling & Capacity Planning
- Develop daily plans and execute production schedules against the master schedule.
- Cooperate with Planning and Delivery through the SIOP process providing inputs into capacity planning and modeling, aligning with the supply chain and customer demand.
- Partner with Planning and Delivery to balance inventory strategies with operational readiness.
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering to embed process controls and ensure compliance.
Continuous Improvement
- Drive Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives across production areas working closely with Engineering.
- Implement systems for performance metrics, accountability, and operational transparency.
- Champion waste reduction, cycle time improvement, and productivity gains.
Culture & Leadership
- Build a culture of engagement, accountability, and innovation.
- Mentor supervisors and team leads, fostering psychological safety and high performance.

Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Mechanisms/Test
Castelion is seeking an expert in the manufacture and design of complex mechanisms for our in-house hypersonic vehicle development. This role will work closely with design engineering and technician teams to build and execute on testing and validation efforts to keep pace with the research and development timetable of our products. You will be apart of a team responsible for serving as a critical node in implementing feedback from testing and validation efforts, streamlining designs and implementing manufacturing changes to quickly mature our products for flight testing and production. Desire for product and process ownership is a must in this role.
Responsibilities
- Work with component design engineering teams to determine the manufacturing and testing feasibility of products
- Operate as a standalone resource responsible for a family of mechanisms
- Architect, mature and develop testing and validation procedures for a wide array of complex mechanisms
- Generate concept proposals in alignment with R&D efforts to help attribute requirements gathering
- Down select solutions generated based on quantifiable vehicle attributes, system cost and weight
- Propose and defend solutions in engineering review meetings
- Develop and refine process documentation including build instructions, test and validation procedures, health and safety standards, and mBOMs
- Create, maintain, and communicate detailed production plans and schedules
- Work closely with supply chain to develop new and existing suppliers as needed
- Design, develop and implement production tooling and equipment
- Participate in design reviews to drive design for manufacturing (DFM)

Basic Qualifications

The Associate Manufacturing Engineer will design new, modified, or improved components/process tooling in accordance with engineering standards and project scope of work. This role will be an entry level role within the operations engineering organization to gain knowledge and skills in providing engineering support to various manufacturing processes.

The Calibration Technician is responsible for performing routine and non-routine calibration of instruments and equipment used at the Client's facility. This role ensures that all critical systems operate within specified tolerances and comply with regulatory standards, including FDA, EU, GMP, and ISO guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform scheduled and unscheduled calibrations on a wide range of instruments, including pressure gauges, temperature sensors, balances, pH meters, and cleanroom monitoring devices, among others, and document properly in the CMMS.
· Maintain accurate and complete calibration records in compliance with cGMP and internal quality standards.
· Troubleshoot and resolve calibration issues, including out-of-tolerance (OOT) conditions, and escalate as necessary.
· Support investigations, deviations, CAPA, and change control processes related to calibration activities.
· Ensure calibration standards and reference instruments are maintained and traceable to national/international standards.
· Assist in the preparation for internal and external audits by providing calibration documentation and technical support.
· Collaborate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Production teams to ensure equipment readiness and compliance.
· Follow and contribute to the development and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) related to calibration.

The 3rd Shift Electronics/PLC Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the reliability, optimization, and continuous improvement of plant automation systems. This position supports production by maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading PLCs, HMIs, motion systems, sensors, and electrical controls across can‑making and end‑making equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and optimize PLC‑based control systems (Allen‑Bradley/Rockwell).
- Maintain and modify HMI interfaces, servo drives, VFDs, and industrial communication networks.
