Summary: The role is responsible for strategically planning and directing all sales efforts for the Concrete Products Division, including developing short- and long-term sales forecasts, assessing market opportunities, and identifying product development needs that strengthen competitive advantage. This position leads global sales activities by driving sales channel productivity, expanding the sales pipeline, delivering technical presentations and training, and overseeing major account relationships across North America and Eurasia. The role manages the Worldwide Sales Matrix Meeting and provides leadership over Application Engineering, Quoting, and Margin functions, ensuring accuracy and performance in all quotes, pricing, costing, PLOs, margin sheets, and change orders

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategically plans sales efforts for Concrete Products Division

• Develop short-term and long-range sales forecasts based on divisional and territorial sales strategies
• Evaluates and prioritizes market opportunities and communicates market assessments to the divisional team
• Identifies product development needs by continuously monitoring how the division differentiates our competitive advantage

Leads sales activities for Concrete Products Division

• Manages sales channel productivity by driving customer solutions and implementing programs to expand the sales pipeline
• Creates and conducts customized technical sales presentations, training and presents key sales proposals
• Tracks lost order reporting and analyzes root cause to identify product development needs and better understand our competitive advantage
• Directs the Major Accounts Manager to expands our relationship with major accounts
• Direct responsibility for Sales channels in North America and Eurasia
• Leads Worldwide Sales Matrix Meeting
• Supervision of Application Engineering, Quoting, Margins
• Reviews and approves all Quotes, PLO, and Margin Sheets for accuracy, proper solutions, and margin performance

• Read and approve all Change Orders

Services and grows existing customer accounts

• Serves as the Ultimate Customer Advocate by ensuring that unresolved issues are visible and resolved in a timely manner
• Monitors post ship survey results and work with management team to identify and implement necessary improvements

Establishes new customer accounts

• Research new sales opportunities by becoming familiar with potential new customers and industry niche needs
• Collaborates with marketing to create customized technical sales presentations based on information collected on customer needs
• Utilizes skills in prospecting, negotiation, handling objections, and closing sales

Identifies and strengthens new sales channels

• Works with Director of Market Development to target and identify specific regional differences in customer and product needs
• Identifies and establishes niche channels in the Concrete Products industry (Robotics, Automation, AGV, etc.)

Maintains target margin

• Maintains target margin on sales by conducting market research to set prices; assists in evaluating gross margins prior to sending quotes to customers
• Maintains detailed quote requests, costing and margin reports and customer records
• Manages and follows discount approval process when negotiating potential product discounts with the customer
• Participates in a post ship margin review, analyzes any variances, and identifies and implements corrective actions to improve margins

Coordinates sales team efforts

• Negotiates and closes sales opportunities
• Establishes company objectives and communicates them by leading sales meetings and distributing information on competitive threats, sales team priorities, and marketing strategies
• Actively participates in trade show activities, field training, and mentoring other sales team members
• Provides details to marketing and engineering staff on appropriate product pricing, technical innovations, and customer demand based on expert market knowledge
• Collaborate with engineering team on research and development opportunities based on customer feedback and strategic plan
• Collaborate with marketing team to ensure that the sales staff have the tools needed to professionally demonstrate how our products add value to the customer

We provide market-driven base pay, based on skills, abilities, and level of experiences. Our salary ranges are broad, and individual salary will be market competitive based on a candidate's unique set of skills and level of experience. Boeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking multiple Machinist Assemblers Precision to join our Machinist departments in either Seattle, WA or Tukwila, WA.

Machinists in this position participate in the design, fabrication and assembly of various production and research projects. Using a variety of precision machines (e.g., lathes, grinders, EDM, CNC and milling machines) to support aircraft engineering and production groups.

Position Responsibilities:

• Perform bench work (e.g., drilling, honing, tapping, reaming) on production and experimental parts, as required
• Assemble parts using rivets and bolts with correct tools such as rivet squeeze, lock bolt puller, rivet gun and bucking bar, power screwdriver, or ratchet per engineering requirements
• Lay-out, plan and sequence machining operation
• Analyze and interpret drawings, sketches, blueprints and verbal instructions to determine work to be performed on detailed precision parts (e.g., aircraft castings, fixtures, tools, shop aids)
• Use shop math, geometry and/or trig to calculate dimensions
• Determine/obtain raw material to be used (e.g., brass, aluminum, steel, composites, and wood) for machining or fabrication per drawing or customer requirements
• Set up operate and adjust all common machine tools (e.g., lathe, mill, bridgeport, electrical discharge machine (EDM), drill press) to accomplish work on precision assemblies

• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials (e.g., coolants, solvents) in approved manner (per Material Safety Data Sheets) using personal protective equipment, as required

We are seeking a 2nd shift CNC Machinist to work out of the West Allis, WI facility. The CNC machinist sets up and operates CNC machines or machining centers to fabricate metal parts, applying knowledge of shop theory and practice, shop math, machinability of materials and layout techniques.

• Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining factors, such as speed, feed, flow, and depth/angle of cut.
• Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed control data.
• May enter commands to retrieve, input or edit programs.
• Start, observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-balance machining and adjust machine as required.
• May confer with engineers, product personnel, programmers, or others to resolve machining problems.
• Perform inspections at the machine to verify part is to specifications.
• Perform daily and weekly maintenance on machines as outlined in preventative maintenance procedures.
• Maintain clean and orderly workstations by their assigned machines.
• Support supervisor and in process development and tooling development.
• Be an active team member in 5-S initiatives.
• Train and assist other operators in variety of machine tools.
• Willingness to support other departments to meet customer schedules and demands, this includes but not limited to performing assembly work, running manual machines like Bridgeport mills and grinders.

Education and Required Experience

• Technical schooling in related field preferred.
• 5 -10 years’ experience in shop math and metrics.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Must be highly qualified and experienced in operating CNC machines or machining centers.
• Must understand G-code and M-code programs.
• Must be able to set up machines, troubleshoot set-ups, and troubleshoot programs.
• Must be able to perform own inspection of parts by using all types of measuring equipment.
• Must demonstrate good manufacturing practices and be able to select tooling and machining resources for manufacturing of parts

Position Responsibilities:

• Independently operate and adjust numerically controlled Tape Laminator machines according to established shop practices and procedures.

• Prepare for job setup by reviewing production orders, work orders (W/O), and setup documents, ensuring access to blueprints and drawings.

• Verify that the correct materials and tools are issued and free from visible defects before starting work.

• Identify the type of machine setup needed based on drawings and work orders, including flat tape laminating machines and automated fiber placement machines.

• Check machine setups and parts completed by previous operators to ensure safe working conditions and job progress.

• Prepare machines by obtaining materials from storage and performing necessary processes before operation, such as rolling tackifier and laying fiberglass.

• Use precision measuring instruments, such as dial indicators, to align and level the layup table as required.

• Retrieve and download CNC programs to the machine controller from the mainframe server.

• Set machine coordinates and adjust offsets, tool heights, and laser settings using the controller keyboard or pendant.

• Run the machine to lay graphite plies, copper ampe plies, and perform hand trimming and rework as necessary.

• Monitor machine operations for unusual vibrations or sounds, checking gauges and displays for warnings.

• Move finished parts and tools using appropriate material handling equipment as required.

• Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with safety regulations and using personal protective equipment.

• Perform quality checks after each operation to ensure parts meet specifications and are free from defects.

• Maintain personal and tool certifications, consulting with team leaders and supervisors on process or job-related issues as needed.

Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:

• Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.

• Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.

• Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.

• Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards.

• Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.

Basic Qualifications:

• 1+ Years of experience using precision measuring tools.

• 1+ Years of experience with multi-axis Numerical Control (NC) machines.

• 1+ Years of experience obtaining and using information from drawings, documents, machine control data, to set up parts or material on pallets for machining operations.

• 1+ Years of experience working with blueprints, specifications, assembly drawings and standard operating procedures.

• Able to stand and walk throughout work shift (6+ hours) as well as carry and lift up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ Years of experience operating 3, 4, or 5 axis NC/CNC machine tools.

• Experience working with and around hazardous materials (while using the proper protective equipment).
