Required or Preferred Experience:

Position Summary: Responsible for managing the overall operations of a Jack in the Box restaurant. Responsible for training and leading the entire restaurant staff in consistently delivering a \"WOW\" guest experience by consistently providing quality food, excellent service, and a clean and safe restaurant environment for JIB guests. Essential Job Functions:

Fill bag racks

Unload shopping carts for customers.

Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place on the front end.

Assist cashiers in checking out customers as efficiently as possible.

Retrieve stray carts from parking lot.

Keep work station and all areas around work station neat and clean.

Assist in stocking of milk and eggs.

Assist customers in locating product.

Never carry on a conversation with another associate while bagging an order.

Know and understand the ValuCard program and be able to explain it.

Assist in sweeping and mopping all areas of store.

Keep bathrooms neat and clean.

Assist in keeping parking lot and shopping carts litter free.

Work parcel pick-up area as directed.

Replace misplaced items to the proper location.

Collect trash and bale boxes and needed.

Proper usage of intercom.

Know and understand shelf tags in order to assist in price changes.

Stock merchandise.

Others duties may be assigned as needed.

YPC crew members perform a wide variety of tasks in park maintenance and park improvements under the direct supervision of an adult Crew Leader.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current enrollment in High School or equivalent certificate program as a sophomore or junior grade level. Ability to provide proof of enrollment.
• Ability to work with others and participate as part of a team.
• Able to safely use hand tools (rakes, shovels, hammers).
• Ability to follow directions with a desire to work and learn.
• Able to perform simple tasks (digging, mixing concrete, lifting, painting, etc.).

Youth are eligible to work one full season only as a regular YPC crew member.

Eight crews of five people will work 16 hours (2 days) per week for four weeks.

Crews 1 and 2 will have orientation on June 27, 2026, and will work from June 29 - July 23.

Crews 3 and 4 will have orientation on July 25, 2026, and will work from July 27 - August 20.

Orientation is required and lasts from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Up to five alternates may serve on an "on call" basis, throughout the entirety of the 2026 YPC season.

Availability of position is contingent on public funding for the YPC program.

Assists in maintenance and simple improvement in park buildings, amenities and recreation facilities.

Paints signs, buildings and other miscellaneous park facilities.
