How you’ll make an impact in this role
- Admits patients, reviews medical history, starts IVs, administers pre-op medications, and confirms informed consent.
- Monitors vital signs, airway patency, and level of consciousness during anesthesia recovery.
- Coordinates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the surgical team to ensure continuity of care.
- Provides post-discharge instructions to patients and family members.
What minimum requirements you’ll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
