Summary of the Job: The primary responsibilities of Machinist Lead - Milling will be to play a vital role in overseeing the team and daily function of the pod. Under guidance of an experienced supervisor and manager, you will oversee production, maintenance, pod cleanliness and scheduling of projects.
Duties and responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate Haas and Okuma CNC milling machines using Mastercam
- Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, CAD models, and GD&T
- Machine custom fixtures, tooling, and production components to specified tolerances
- Collaborate with the Wire EDM process; utilize Makino Wire EDM support for fixture and tooling components as needed
- Coordinate the activities of technician in the pod by assigning tasks and ensuring adherence to production schedules.
- Inspect machinery for signs of wear, damage, or malfunction, and work with floor supervisor to generate appropriate corrective actions to address any issues identified.
- Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to pod technicians, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Have a strong understanding of G-Code and CAM to generate and modify when needed.
- Oversee the setup and operation of Mills and Vertical Saws to produce precision components according to engineering specifications.
- Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize work orders, allocate resources, and optimize production workflows.
- Conduct regular inspections of machining equipment, identifying maintenance needs, and coordinating repairs and upgrades as necessary.
- Support Management with develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality control measures to improve process consistency and reduce waste.
- Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and external stakeholders to provide updates on production status, resource requirements, and project timelines.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement, promoting adherence to company policies, procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience:
- High School Graduate
- Minimum of 10+ years of CNC milling experience in a job shop environment
- Strong proficiency in Mastercam programming (2D and 3D)
- Extensive experience setting up and operating Haas and/or Okuma CNC mills preferred
- Proven ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T
- Experience machining fixtures, tight-tolerance parts, and varying part specifications
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and process control
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs concurrently
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a high-mix, low-to-medium volume job shop
- Familiarity with Wire EDM processes, specifically Makino Wire EDM, for fixture and tooling support

ProSidian Consulting seeks a Management and Operations Consulting Senior Manager to lead and support design, development and delivery of client solutions for the Firm's Consulting Practice. The Senior Manager plays an integral role in successfully designing, planning and executing client engagements and building the firm's reputation for quality service. Senior Policy Advisor for Health

The Senior Policy Advisor will report to the Deputy Secretary for Health and partner closely with the Assistant Secretaries for Health to oversee the Governor’s Health agenda, including all components of operations and policy management within the Health portfolio. Additionally, the Senior Policy Advisor will work with senior leadership and staff members within the Executive Chamber as well as the Department of Health (DOH), Office of the Medicaid Inspector General (OMIG), and State Office for the Aging (SOFA) in service of setting and implementing the Governor’s Health agenda.

- Partners with the Deputy Secretary and Assistant Secretaries to conduct oversight of State agencies within the designated program area (Health). Serves as a cornerstone of the Health portfolio, partnering with the agency, Division of Budget, Executive Chamber Counsel, and other members of the Health portfolio to help set and implement the Governor’s Health agenda.
- Policy making: Owns discrete policy areas agreed upon in collaboration with the Deputy Secretary and Assistant Secretaries for Health, including:
- Identifying areas of greatest need/opportunity through research and analysis (literature reviews, stakeholder interviews, review of current legislation, etc.)
- Developing specific proposals to address areas of need (e.g., reviewing best practices from other States, partnering with experts within State agencies) for consideration during annual State of the State and budget-making processes
- Ensuring policy initiatives proposed by State agencies and other Executive Chamber teams remain coordinated and consistent with overall Health agenda
- Developing perspective and advising Governor on whether to sign/veto legislative bills passed during annual legislative session
- Implementation and agency oversight: Partners closely with relevant State agencies to ensure effective implementation of Governor’s agenda, including:
- Monitoring agency progress in implementing key priorities, including intervening as necessary to ensure adequate direction, resources, and support to achieve objectives
- Leading implementation for select priority initiatives
- Managing certain aspects of day-to-day agency oversight (e.g., reviewing and approving budget requests, reports for external release)
- Ensuring Deputy Secretary and other Executive Chamber leadership are kept abreast of agency operations
- Providing input, as needed, on day-to-day agency operations (e.g., review of agency-proposed regulations)
- Communications and stakeholder management: Takes steps to gather input on and build support for Governor’s agenda, including:
- Meeting with key advocates and stakeholders within and outside of NYS to gather input on and build support for agenda
- Partnering with agency and Executive Chamber communications teams to provide input on overall communications strategy, including press, events, etc.
- In support of the above activities, is expected to have exemplary skills and demonstrated experience in the following:
- Conducting policy research (including literature reviews, expert and stakeholder interviews, data analysis) and generating innovative and effective recommendations

Potential Areas of Focus:

As Data Architect – Senior Manager, you will have an expert understanding of data architecture and data engineering and will be focused on problem-solving to design, architect, and present findings and solutions, leading more junior team members, and working with a wide variety of clients to sell and lead delivery of technology consulting services. You will be the go-to resource for understanding our clients’ problems and responding with appropriate methodologies and solutions anchored around data architectures, platforms, and technologies. You are responsible for helping to win new business for EY. You are a trusted advisor with a broad understanding of digital transformation initiatives, the analytic technology landscape, industry trends and client motivations. - Establish data governance policies and practices, including data security, quality, and lifecycle management.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies in data architecture and management, recommending innovations and improvements to enhance our capabilities.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- A Bachelor’s degree required in STEM
- 12+ years professional consulting experience in industry or in technology consulting.
- 12+ years hands-on experience in architecting, designing, delivering or optimizing data lake solutions.
- 5+ years’ experience with native cloud products and services such as Azure or GCP.
- 8+ years of experience mentoring and leading teams of data architects and data engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and professional development.
- In-depth knowledge of data architecture principles and best practices, including data modelling, data warehousing, data lakes, and data integration.
- Demonstrated experience in leading large data engineering teams to design and build platforms with complex architectures and diverse features including various data flow patterns, relational and no-SQL databases, production-grade performance, and delivery to downstream use cases and applications.
- Hands-on experience in designing end-to-end architectures and pipelines that collect, process, and deliver data to its destination efficiently and reliably.
- Proficiency in data modelling techniques and the ability to choose appropriate architectural design patterns, including Data Fabrics, Data Mesh, Lake Houses, or Delta Lakes.
- Manage complex data analysis, migration, and integration of enterprise solutions to modern platforms, including code efficiency and performance optimizations.
- Previous hands‑on coding skills in languages commonly used in data engineering, such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Ability to design data solutions that can scale horizontally and vertically while optimizing performance.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes for managing data workloads.
- Experience in version control systems (e.g. Git) and knowledge of DevOps practices for automating data engineering workflows (DataOps).
- Practical understanding of data encryption, access control, and security best practices to protect sensitive data.
- Experience leading Infrastructure and Security engineers and architects in overall platform build.

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $144,000 to $329,100. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $172,800 to $374,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
