About the Role:

Customer Success Managers are responsible for maximizing digital implementation, usage, retention, and expansion of Wiley's digital solutions. Working closely with their DLE or Account Manager, the Customer Success Managers bring their expertise to provide a range of services to customers including developing successful course implementation solutions, training, course fulfillment/setup, monitoring course usage, and trends, and driving digital conversions and account expansions. The Customer Success Manager is responsible for reconfirming existing business with faculty and guaranteeing increased platform retention.

The Customer Success Manager will be a key resource in delivering Wiley's commitment to exceptional customer advising, support, retention, and expansion of digital usage in their territory. They will work with existing and new customers to create and implement their digital solutions. They will work with their DLE or AM partner to expand their digital footprint.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for reconfirming and retaining current customers while expanding digital usage at installed base accounts.

  • Responsible for assisting faculty in implementing and integrating Wiley's digital solutions.

  • Consult with instructors on implementation and curriculum design. Execute individual and departmental training plans.

  • Collaborate with DLE/Account Manager to review the status of opportunities, existing business, and expansion opportunities.Partner with DLE/AM to identify priority customers and participate in effective retention strategies to reduce digital churn and ensure a superior experience for our installed customers.Carve out separate retention strategies for priority accounts/adoptions vs. all other adoptions.

  • Drive and support pilots across the territory with follow-up, surveys, assistance with the platform, and questions. Assist AM with converting the pilot to an adoption.

  • Collaborate with DLE/AM partner weekly or biweekly on adoption strategies to effect expansion and digital penetration.

  • Proactively follow up with customers to ensure a positive experience using Wiley products and promote new features and functionality specific to their user experience.

  • Conduct re-training with keycustomers to ensure all large adoption customers are "power users."

  • Provide deep integration support on various LMS / LTI implementations.

  • Provide regular account and adoption intelligence in SFDC after working with customers. Confirm/Update Inclusive Access (IA) readoption Opps in SFDC for enrollment, Won/Lost stage, instructors contact info on IA adoptions. Maintain Bookstore communication and relationships to obtain IA adoption details, IA processes, and work order details.

  • Analyze and drive digital usage data via activations reports for priority adoptions after back-to-school period ends.

  • Review Vendor reports at specific times during the season for IA courseware adoptions, confirm with bookstore or instructor if additional information is needed, review and update opp in SFDC, Set to IA in CAP. Follow up on non-responders of IA confirmations at the end of each season.

Qualifications:

  • Able to lead effective presentations to internal and external customers, in both large groups and one-on-one settings.

Requirements

As a Project Engineer, the role will carry out responsibilities such as but not limited managing and directing capital engineering projects of varying size and scope throughout the project life cycle from concept to completion. This includes scope development, cost estimate preparation, facility layout & design, engineering and design of process equipment, specifications, procurement, as well as overseeing project installation and commissioning. The role focuses on ensuring the technical and engineering integrity of projects, driving innovation and efficiency in design and execution.

Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Capital Budget Management: Collaborate with facility staff to develop and submit capital appropriation requests for management approval, ensuring alignment with engineering standards and objectives.
  • Project Engineering and Management: Lead the development of project scopes, preliminary budgets, detailed cost estimates, equipment specifications, drawings, and bid documents. Manage engineering projects with internal and external resources to ensure they meet engineering requirements, quality standards, and are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Design and Development Oversight: Ensure that project designs meet all engineering criteria and deliver project objectives effectively and efficiently. Oversee the creation of detailed engineering documents including studies, calculations, drawings, plans and specifications.
  • Vendor Coordination: Work with equipment vendors to obtain and evaluate competitive proposals. Prepare purchase requisitions, review project-related engineering documentation for code compliance, and schedule equipment deliveries to meet project timelines.
  • Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all equipment and construction adhere to relevant safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including FDA, BRC, OSHA, and EPA requirements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Finance, Operations, R&D, IT, Quality, Sanitation, Health & Safety, Legal, and other departments to integrate engineering solutions into broader company initiatives.
  • Field Installation and Commissioning: Oversee contractors and manage the field installation of processing systems. Ensure that equipment and workmanship meet or exceed project requirements, prepare reports, and manage change orders from start-up through commissioning.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests or Pre-Delivery Inspections at suppliers' sites as needed. Coordinate equipment start-up, commissioning, and training to ensure optimal performance.
  • Safety Leadership: Promote and support safety protocols for contractors and team members on all projects.
  • Flexibility: Be available for travel and extended or off-hours work as required by project demands.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by management, ensuring they align with the engineering focus of the role.

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial/mechanical/electrical engineering or other relevant engineering degree preferred.


Experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years' experience in managing complex projects.
  • Prior food industry project management experience - dairy industry is preferred.


Specialized Knowledge

  • Significant experience in managing capital projects with a strong engineering component, preferably in the dairy or food industry
  • Knowledge of dairy process equipment (HTST, separator, membrane systems, mechanical, electrical and control systems.
  • Knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project and applied use of AutoCAD applications.
  • Experience and knowledge of industrial plant construction, codes, practices, and engineering requirements are a benefit.

Skills/Abilities

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Create, support, and animate the energy and water progress plan to ensure that the energy performance of the site is effectively managed. Analyze the energy and water consumption of the site and manage and mentor site leadership to the standards of energy and water programs to guarantee the progress plan.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Maintain a roadmap and strategic plan of energy, CO2, and water targets and performance, which is in line with the Group's objectives and ambitions. Ensure the plan is updated annually and the status is routinely presented to the site management team.
  • Facilitate a 10-year energy performance improvement plan for the site.
  • Follow up and document the implementation of the annual actions resulting from the site's roadmap.
  • Lead the various activities (workshops) of the site to improve water and energy consumption.
  • Guarantee the reliability of the basic data necessary for the calculations of the energy and water indicators.
  • Analyze the relevance and effectiveness of energy and water maintenance plans, provide feedback and recommendations on corrective actions needed.
  • Establish and maintain standards of energy consumption by activity and by type of equipment that reflect plant production, flex, and baseline energy consumption.
  • Ensure that water & energy meters are operational, the level of metering meets the analysis needs, and that the associated digitization of water and energy performance is in place to deliver progress.
  • Drive the site's energy costs and environmental footprint to optimal levels by constantly improving energy performance.
  • The energy and environmental indicators are analyzed and reliable. The site energy performance is communicated and understood within the site and beyond the site level.
  • Documented feedback such as lessons learned, revised standards/specifications, and best practices are shared to improve the knowledge of the site personnel, including designers of new equipment and installations.
  • Work in collaboration with energy partners to optimize contracts with energy supply, transformation, and maintenance.
  • Evaluate efficiency of the production and distribution of fluids to identify opportunities to drive progress on energy consumption and costs.
  • Support the different activities of the site to improve energy consumption and animate progress involving all employees, such as operators, maintenance, technicians, and managers through steering groups, MDP (Managing Daily Performance) production through awareness campaigns.
  • Lead and participate in energy diagnostics, both at the site and in support of other sites in the time zone.
  • Contribute to the establishment of consumption standards.
  • Modelling the energy flows for the site and the levels of consumption.
  • Establish consumption standards by activity and type of equipment.
  • Apply energy expertise for diagnostics and assist in problem resolution.
  • Participate in the optimization of contracts (supply, transformation, maintenance, water treatment,) through consistent communication with Fluids and Energy buyers.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

Job Summary


The H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISyE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia, invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions. Appointments can be made at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor ranks, commensurate with the individual's record. Applicants from all research areas relevant to the discipline will be considered.

Candidates are also expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.

ISyE faculty are expected to lead independent research at the cutting edge of their field and build a strong sponsored-research program. In addition, they are expected to contribute to both undergraduate and graduate teaching, as well as service to the school, institute, and profession.

An earned doctorate in Industrial Engineering or related field is required by the start of the appointment.
