Department Information
Stamps Health Services is an outpatient ambulatory care center that provides health care and health education to students and their spouses/domestic partners. The center is located in a state-of-the-art, 40,000-square-foot facility within the Joseph Brown Whitehead Building, next to our Campus Recreation Center. Stamps Health Services provides care in six areas: Primary care, women's health, Psychiatry, Travel/Immunization/Allergy, Pharmacy, and Diagnostic Services (lab and radiology). Primary Care Clinic is the largest of the clinics at Stamps Health Services and sees approximately 24,000 visits/year.
Job Summary
Provide clinical nursing care and education to patients within the scope of Stamps Health Services (SHS) and in accordance with the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: students, health services staff, and visitors. This position typically will advise and counsel: students, health services staff, and visitors. This position may supervise: NA
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Practice safe, effective and appropriate clinical nursing in accordance with SHS policies and procedures and within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act of Georgia. Manage patient flow; perform and document patient assessments, nursing interventions, education and follow-up treatment and services. Support work of other clinic team members; act as a patient advocate, providing needed information.
Job Duty 2 -
Identify patients' learning needs, providing education that meets the physical, psychological, social and cultural needs of the patient. Provide individualized teaching including ongoing evaluation of patient understanding and compliance. Make appropriate modifications in instructional techniques for age-related and individual learning needs. Assist with development of new interventions, tools and methods of teaching. Collaborate with other SHS team members in addressing educational needs of patients.

Demonstrate effective leadership skills and support the SHS mission, vision and values. Demonstrate and ongoing commitment to professional development.
Job Duty 4 -
Maintain current license and participate in clinical and related continuing professional education. Participate in research and performance improvement projects that enhance practice and improve patient care. Assist with development of new procedures and evaluate effectiveness.

About the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology
The School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Georgia Institute of Technology is one of the largest producers of electrical engineers and computer engineers in the United States. Almost 2,600 students are enrolled in the School's graduate and undergraduate programs, and in the last academic year, 801 degrees were awarded. All ECE undergraduate and graduate programs are in the top five of the most recent college rankings by U.S. News & World Report.
In addition to the main campus in Atlanta, Georgia, ECE also has permanent operations at Georgia Tech-Lorraine in France. Horticulturist I is responsible for the planning, maintenance, and operations of the campus community garden, other student garden spaces, and an outreach hydroponic garden. They manage and mentor student volunteers, plan and host educational programs and events, and collaborate with campus partners to advance sustainability goals. The College of Computing was established in 1990 as the first such College at a public university and the second in the United States. Since that time, the college has grown into a world-class leader in research and education. Housing and Residence Life is passionate about the Georgia Tech residential student experience. With 97% of all first-year students choosing to live on campus, we create spaces and opportunities for Yellow Jackets to grow and connect from their first day of college through their graduate studies. We are proud to support our students personal development and academic endeavors while providing a safe and comfortable living environment.
Our department is a large and complex organization supporting over 8,700 on-campus residents among 49 traditional halls, suites, and apartments, some of which were constructed for the 1996 Summer Olympics. Our team of 200+ professional staff and 300+ student staff from six departments supports residents directly and indirectly with their unique talents. Inspect, repair, install, modify and maintain plumbing and piping systems and support equipment. Systems include sewer and domestic water, natural gas and hot water reheat or chilled water. SKILLS
This job requires master level skills in the operation and maintenance of internal, external, and underground plumbing and piping systems and components. Ability to operate machine tools, motor vehicles, hand/power tools, and hydraulic/pneumatic equipment is required, as is a working knowledge of building support/maintenance, general construction, utilities, equipment installation, safety procedures, and mathematics. The ability to read prints, drawings, and schematics is required.

The School of Psychology at the Georgia Institute of Technology places a strong emphasis on scientific research, discovery & innovation, and interdisciplinary education. Job Summary
The Subjective Uncertainty and Belief Lab at Georgia Institute of Technology is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow under the supervision of PI Mark Himmelstein and in collaboration with David Budescu of Fordham University.
Responsibilities
The responsibility of the position is to support an NSF grant funded project for using planned missing data research designs to estimate how people use advice to revise their judgments without requiring them to directly report their independent prior beliefs first. There are two directions this position could potentially be focused on, which would ideally overlap:
- Developing new cognitive models for how people revise probability judgments.
- Extending research designs that use planned missing data methods for addressing measurement reactivity areas beyond just advice taking research.
Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Psychology, Computational Social Science, Economics, Data Science or a related field by the start date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Theoretical background in topics related to judgment and decision making, preferably advice taking research and Judge Advisor Systems.
- Experience in either psychometric or computational cognitive modeling.
- Experience with missing data imputation methods.
- A strong track record of peer reviewed publications and presentations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Serving within the Research Faculty of the Institute, this position directly supports the extension, service, and economic development missions of Georgia Tech to the State of Georgia and beyond.
