We're excited about you if you have (Required Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience) with 6+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Deep technical expertise in containerized environments, specifically Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker.
Strong command of general-purpose and scripting languages, including Java, Python, Go, and Bash.
Proven experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Helm to automate secure infrastructure rollouts.

The Operational Intelligence Center (OIC) is a sophisticated command center dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to retail centers across North America. As an OIC Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering top-notch customer service through telephone interactions with customers and tenants, supporting security operations via radio communications, and monitoring video surveillance systems. This role requires outstanding computer skills, the ability to master multiple applications, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service in every interaction.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone and radio calls.
- Communicate effectively with callers to gather complete information and determine the appropriate level of service, including dispatching police, fire, medical, security, or property management.
- Collaborate with on-site security personnel to resolve incidents.
- Provide pre-arrival emergency or medical instructions to law enforcement or fire personnel.
- Escalate and coordinate incidents with the OIC Supervisor.
- Interpret site maps, and computer-aided design maps.

Typical Duties:
- Provide unarmed security services on foot or by vehicle to perform customer service, fare inspection, and civil enforcement actions across the entire alignment.
- Lead interactions with the public and customers from a customer service approach while trained and prepared to adopt a security or civil enforcement posture.

- Inspect 20% of all fares system-wide each day.

Qualifications:
U.S. citizen or authorization to work in the U.S.
21 years of age or older.
Valid Arizona State Driver's License, if in a position that requires driving.
Possess a valid security guard license.
Possess current First Aid and CPR certification cards and be familiar with an AED defibrillator.
Free of any job-related felony or major misdemeanor convictions, as determined in accordance with EEOC Enforcement Guidance 915.002.
Education and Experience:
High school graduate or equivalent.
One year experience as a security guard, member of the military, or police officer. Preferred security experience includes forward-facing customer engagement, de-escalation, crisis management, and professional communication. Three years of forward-facing customer service experience may be substituted for one year of the required security experience.
Physical & Mental Requirements- Must be fully capable of performing the full range of security work requiring moderate to arduous physical exertion under either normal or emergency conditions. Must be able to stand and walk for the duration of shift hours.
- Exhibit good general health without physical defects or abnormalities which would interfere with the performance of duties under the contract.
- Must possess a good distance vision in each eye, correct to 20/30 on the Snellen chart. In addition to that, must possess normal fields of vision, good depth perception, close vision correctable to Jaeger #4 type test of both eyes, and ability to distinguish basic colors.

Key Responsibilities:- Secure Assets and Spaces: Protect and oversee critical areas and assets, ensuring their safety and integrity.
- Maintain Authority: Exhibit a commanding physical presence to deter criminal activity and maintain order.
- Conduct Security Patrols: Perform regular perimeter and grounds inspections, remaining alert for any unusual or suspicious behavior.
- Respond to Threats: Identify potentially hazardous situations and respond effectively and safely.
- Assist and Protect: Provide aid and protection to individuals in need, ensuring their safety.
- Enforce Security Measures: Investigate and address trespassers or violators; detain perpetrators when necessary.
- Control Access: Manage gate and door access for vehicles and personnel, maintaining strict entry protocols.
- Ensure Safety: Secure premises by locking doors, closing windows, and taking other necessary safety measures.
- Monitor Surveillance: Observe security cameras for signs of suspicious activity and take appropriate action.
- Manage Alarms: Set and respond to alarms as required, ensuring prompt action during emergencies.
- Escort Personnel: Provide safe escort services for employees and visitors as needed.
- Coordinate Emergency Response: Activate alarms and contact external emergency services (police, fire, medical) when required.
- Document Incidents: Prepare detailed reports on damages, theft, and irregular activities, maintaining thorough records.
- Compliance: Adhere to all applicable state and company regulations and policies.
- Must be able to read, write and understand English proficiently

- Must have an active guard card
- Previous experience as an armed guard
- Must be technologically proficient
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-pressure situations

What You'll Do:
- Sell Vector Security residential and commercial solutions by proactively generating appointments with prospective and existing customers and ensuring offerings align with customer needs and company objectives.
- Maintains strong product knowledge through ongoing training and certifications; educate customers on security solutions including video surveillance, intrusion detection, access control, and fire alarm systems.
- Continuously build and manage a sales pipeline by generating commercial proposals and maintaining opportunities equal to at least four times monthly sales quota.
- Track all proposals and activity within company CRM system to ensure accurate reporting and management visibility.
- Collaborate with commercial system design teams and branch operations to ensure the proper scope is defined for larger commercial installations.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities by developing strategies to introduce Vector's products to new customers and target segments.
- Monitor competitive activity and market trends including pricing, products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques.
What You'll Need:
- High School Diploma required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Valid Driver's License
- Needs to be savvy in using social media to increase sales leads.
- Prospecting Skills:
- In order to expand our commercial business, it is important that Commercial sales representatives be able to build new relationships and generate new logos for the company.
- This can be done via a variety of methods including leveraging LinkedIn, social media, networking, working “Dodge” type reports, etc.
- Previous Sales Experience - Preferred:
- Demonstrated success in previous sales positions.
- Presentation Skills:
- Ability to present complex integrated solutions that are common in Large Commercial environment.
- Closing Skills:
- Must be able to close commercial proposals at a rate deemed acceptable by management, overcome objections, have strong negotiation skills.

High-performing representatives often earn up to $80,000 in their first year, with experienced top performers exceeding six figures.
