We are looking to hire an articulate Office Assistant with a passion for delivering and ensuring excellent support to our Partners, Management Team & Associates. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF A MAC SENIOR ESTIMATOR


Estimating Leadership

  • Lead and manage the preparation of detailed cost estimates for projects from conceptual through final bid documents.
  • Establish bid strategies and ensure complete, accurate scope coverage across all divisions.
  • Review and validate all estimates prior to submission, ensuring that pricing aligns with project drawings, vendor proposals, and company standards.
  • Provide oversight and mentorship to estimating staff on takeoffs, bid leveling, and proposal documentation.
  • Identify and communicate value engineering opportunities to improve cost efficiency without sacrificing quality.

Bid and Proposal Management

  • Manage the full bid process from RFP intake through submission, including document control, trade solicitation, bid coverage, and leveling.
  • Develop project-specific scope sheets and bid forms, confirming all trades have complete and current information.
  • Lead bid-day analysis and ensure that all proposals reflect a complete and accurate scope.
  • Assemble and deliver professional, client-ready proposal packages that communicate clarity, confidence, and alignment with project requirements.
  • Support pre-bid meetings and post-bid interviews as needed to represent MAC’s estimating team.

Preconstruction Collaboration

  • Collaborate with design teams, project managers, and field leadership to identify constructability issues, schedule implications, and risk areas.
  • Partner with operations on handoff deliverables, ensuring all bid assumptions, vendor selections, and clarifications are documented and accessible in Procore.
  • Participate in project handoff meetings and support field teams in understanding estimate logic and scope breakdowns.

Vendor and Subcontractor Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and reliable coverage.
  • Lead pre-bid scope review calls and ensure alignment on inclusions, exclusions, and assumptions.
  • Review and level all subcontractor bids, tracking historical data for future reference.
  • Maintain MAC’s preferred vendor database and ensure consistent communication with trade partners.

Process Improvement & Data Management

  • Support the development and refinement of MAC’s preconstruction procedures and SOPs.
  • Maintain historical cost data and use it to inform conceptual and schematic budgets.
  • Assist in establishing performance metrics for estimating accuracy, proposal timeliness, and bid hit rate.
  • Leverage technology (Procore, ProEst, Bluebeam, Excel, Smartsheet) to streamline estimating workflows.



ESSENTIAL SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS, AND REQUIREMENTS OF A MAC SENIOR ESTIMATOR

  • Deep understanding of construction means, methods, and cost structures across commercial building types.
  • Proficiency in Procore, ProEst (or equivalent estimating software), Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with data center, industrial, or MEP-intensive project estimating preferred.
  • Ability to lead meetings with clients, architects, and subcontractors confidently and professionally.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 8–12 years of progressive estimating experience with a commercial general contractor.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The typical annual base salary range for this role is $95-129k. The base salary offer will depend on experience and other relevant factors. This role is eligible for project bonuses as well as an annual incentive plan.

Responsibilities

Operational Accounting (Accounts Payable, Accounting, & Accounts Receivable)

  • Oversee day-to-day operational accounting activities with an initial focus on managing the corporate accounts payable team.
  • Responsible for reviewing new arrangements/contracts, including joint ventures, and creating the relevant accounting procedures.

Experience, Skills, and Education

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting is required
  • CPA is required
  • Master’s degree in accounting is preferred
  • Big 4 public accounting experience is preferred
  • 5+ years of leadership experience managing accounting/accounts payable teams for a mid-size or large company is required
  • Expert knowledge of US GAAP and financial accounting & reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate professionally and interact effectively with all levels of personnel
  • Strong detail-oriented focus with ability to think critically
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and balance competing priorities while meeting all external deadlines
  • Prior construction accounting is not necessary but would be a plus

Position Overview

Lead the creative direction of women’s denim for two globally recognized brands — Scotch & Soda and Off-White. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Denim Designer to drive seasonal denim collections with a strong point of view, technical expertise, and commercial acumen.

Reporting to the Design Director, you will own the denim category from concept through production, shaping silhouettes, washes, fabric development, and overall category strategy. This role requires deep knowledge of denim construction, fit, and wash development, as well as the ability to translate global trend insight into commercially successful product.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with Technical Design, Product Development, Sourcing, and global wash houses to ensure elevated execution and brand alignment across international markets. This position offers the opportunity to lead a core category within a fast-paced, globally connected organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of seasonal women’s denim collections, including bottoms, jackets, and denim-driven fashion pieces.
  • Establish seasonal denim direction across silhouette, proportion, fabrication, and wash, ensuring alignment with each brand’s distinct aesthetic.
  • Own fabric and wash research, partnering with mills and global laundries to develop innovative denim fabrics, finishes, garment dyes, and specialty treatments.
  • Translate creative vision into production-ready CADs, detailed tech packs, and denim specification packages, including wash standards and construction details.
  • Oversee fit development in partnership with Technical Design, ensuring consistency in block standards, rise, leg shape, and overall garment balance.
  • Drive trim development and hardware selection, including rivets, shanks, labeling, and brand-specific detailing.
  • Partner with Merchandising to build denim assortments that balance innovation with commercial performance and margin goals.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing and Production to manage costing, lead times, and vendor capabilities across global factories and wash houses.
  • Present seasonal denim concepts and line reviews to internal leadership and external partners.
  • Stay deeply connected to global denim trends, competitive landscape, and consumer shifts to inform category growth and evolution.
  • Leverage advanced AI-driven design tools, including Straight Lines AI, to support concept development, category exploration, and workflow optimization. Mamiye Brothers is an early adopter and industry pioneer in integrating AI into the fashion design process, using technology to enhance creativity, accelerate development, and drive innovation responsibly.



Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field
  • 7–10 years of professional design experience with strong emphasis in women’s denim
  • Deep understanding of denim construction, pattern development, and wash processes
  • Experience working directly with global mills, laundries, and production partners
  • Strong portfolio showcasing denim innovation, wash development, and silhouette evolution
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Experience creating detailed, production-ready denim tech packs
  • Familiarity with PLM systems
  • Interest in leveraging AI-driven creative tools within the design process is a plus
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to influence cross-functional teams
