About the Role

Shaka Wear is looking for a Graphic Designer to assist in creating impactful collateral for digital, social media, and printed media. As Manager - Art Direction, Brand Studio, you own the day-to-day design leadership and creative execution that brings Castelion’s brand to life across campaigns, systems, and key touchpoints. This is a hands-on role that blends making and leading. Responsibilities


Brand systems and visual identity


  • Evolve and maintain Castelion’s visual identity system (logo usage, color, typography, imagery, layout, motion guidelines) so it works across internal and external channels.
  • Translate brand and visual principles into clear standards, toolkits, and documentation that non-designers can actually use.
  • Build and maintain centralized component and asset libraries in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud, with naming conventions, versioning, and usage guidance.


Campaigns, launches, and flagship stories


  • Lead art direction for integrated campaigns, product and capability launches, customer and investor narratives, recruiting initiatives, conferences, and major announcements.

NATURE OF THE POSITION

Under the supervision of the Director of Marketing and Advancement Services, or designee, the Advancement Services Specialist provides creative, logistical, and technical support for marketing campaigns, fundraising activities, donor relations, graphic design, event coordination, and scholarship programming. The Advancement Services Specialist provides specialized support in promoting the College and the PVC Foundation?s mission, advancing equity and inclusion, and enhancing institutional visibility through creative content development, data integrity, and community engagement.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Develops and supports inclusive marketing and fundraising efforts that celebrate student diversity, promotes access to scholarships, and build authentic engagement with donors, alumni, and the broader community, 
  2. Provides logistical and creative support for advancement efforts such as fundraising, annual giving, alumni engagement, grant support, and planned giving communications. 
  3. Responsible for logging gifts, preparing donor receipts and acknowledgment letters, validating submitted donor records, creating pledges, and reminders.
  4. Assists with annual solicitations and tracking of scholarship renewals; communicates scholarship deadlines, criteria, and award information clearly to students, families, and campus partners; coordinates and tracks scholarship applications and awards.
  5. Coordinates Foundation presence at annual ceremonies; serves as a liaison with the PVC Foundation; assists in the preparation of agenda items for the Foundation Board of Directors meetings; attends Foundation meetings and serves as official recorder.

Job Description: Under the direction of the Director of Development & Communications, the Development Manager helps secure the resources Rafiki Coalition needs to sustain and grow its programs by focusing on foundation grants, corporate giving, and development operations.

This role works closely with the Director of Development & Communications (DD&C), Executive Director (ED), and key contractors to build and manage a strong institutional funding pipeline while supporting a small portfolio of major donor relationships.

The Development Manager is a hands-on project manager, writer, and relationship-builder who keeps proposals, reports, and sponsorship outreach on track, and who makes sure the ED and DD&C are well prepared for high-value fundraising conversations.

Rafiki is entering an exciting period of growth, including a 40th anniversary campaign, a capital campaign for its building, and an expansion of its development team and private philanthropy strategy.

The Development Manager will be a key collaborator in establishing a consistent annual fundraising and stewardship program and in shaping the structure and practices of the development team as it grows.

RESPONSIBILITES Foundation Grants Maintain an annual foundation fundraising plan and pipeline, including targets, deadlines, and ask amounts in collaboration with DD&C and ED.

Collaboration & Internal Coordination Work closely with program leaders to understand program goals, outcomes, and stories, and translate them into strong cases for support.
