Job Title: Customer Success Manager
Location: US - Remote
OptymEdge is advancing global ophthalmology clinical trials through the Acuvera Suite-Certify, Capture, and Imaging-bringing digital transformation to visual function endpoints. To support this growth, we are seeking a Customer Success & Strategic Growth Manager to support and execute value realization, strengthen sponsor and CRO partnerships, and unlock long-term account expansion.
Primary Purpose
This client-facing role blends customer success, strategic account management, and commercial insight. You will partner with key global sponsors, oversee engagement across the customer lifecycle, and convert operational excellence into deeper, multi-service relationships. You will also contribute to the development of scalable CS frameworks that support OptymEdge's growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
1. Strategic Account Leadership
* Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic accounts
* Lead onboarding, adoption, and continuous value delivery across Certify, Capture, and Imaging modules
* Conduct structured governance meetings, QBRs, and planning sessions with client stakeholders
* Build multi-level, trust-based relationships anchored in scientific credibility and shared goals
* Identify risks early and drive cross-functional resolution to maintain delivery excellence
2. Growth & Expansion Opportunities
* Identify upsell, cross-sell, and multi-service expansion opportunities in partnership with Commercial and Business Development teams
* Contribute to the development of long-term partnership and account growth strategies
* Partner with Business Development on renewals, pricing input, and proposal development
* Track and report NRR, account health indicators, and expansion pipeline activity
3. Cross-Functional Partnership
* Collaborate with Delivery, Clinical, Product, Technology, and Marketing teams to ensure consistent execution
* Translate customer insights into actionable product and service improvement recommendations
* Contribute to value stories, case studies, and customer success narratives
* Serve as the internal voice of the customer to support alignment across teams
4. Operational Excellence & Scaling
* Contribute to the development and refinement of scalable CS processes, playbooks, and engagement frameworks
* Build and maintain account health models and standardized reporting dashboards
* Leverage CRM and analytics tools for forecasting, engagement tracking, and risk signaling
* Support knowledge sharing and onboarding activities as the CS function grows
Qualifications
* Bachelor's/Master's in Life Sciences, Business, or related field.
* 5+ years in customer success, strategic account management, or clinical operations.
* Experience with eClinical or digital health systems.
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and commercial awareness
Bonus Points

Job Summary:
The Operations Lead (OL) oversees store processes and supports an active selling culture by ensuring that all aspects are maintained to documented company standards designed to drive sales. The OL provides expertise in all operation processes including opening, closing, training, and delegation of tasks while always demonstrating a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
The Operations Lead performs all store opening, closing, and Front-End processes, ensuring accurate and timely execution, and operational readiness, providing troubleshooting, team management, conditioning, and housekeeping, while ensuring building, assets, and team member security.
The OL coordinates directly with the Operations Manager to maximize staffing effectiveness that supports traffic, sales, and the customer experience, including compliance with Company timekeeping policies, meeting labor model standards, customer interaction standards, and business metrics.
The OL participates in Task Management by planning/executing the daily/weekly zone workload and assigning tasks to deliver on store, department, sales goals, guest engagement, etc., and ensures all tasks are completed in an efficient and timely manner.
The Operations Lead supports the store team in the areas of customer satisfaction, inventory control/shrink, safety, loss prevention expense control, and customer experience so the store will operate effectively and profitably.
The OL Drives productivity by training, coaching, planning, monitoring, and appraising results.
The Operations Lead leverages daily interactions and team huddles to communicate and teach/train topics that support the customer experience.
The operations Lead participates in all freight processes for incoming freight and/or transitions The OL processes freight, and stocks, including down stocking and end cap maintenance, while maintaining a neat, clean, organized store.
All other duties are based on business needs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Lead a team of production technicians in their daily tasks of assembling, labeling, and packaging may take place in a cleanroom environment. Must adhere to proper gowning procedures
- Label and assemble finished product components and kits for inventory and shipping
- Work alongside of the Manufacturing Supervisor to help forecast and plan continuing manufacturing efforts to ensure an on time delivery.
- Label and assemble study kits in support of clinical research services
- Pull kits from inventory stock and quality check to prepare for shipping
- Remove finished products from the machine and separate rejected items
- Stock, sort, and secure products for packaging
- Inspect intermediate and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Remove defective products and packaging material
- Clean packaging containers, workstations, and floors daily and as needed with the use of chemicals such as bleach
- Maintain accurate records of assembly activities, including documenting any deviations from standard procedures or any issues encountered during the process
- Follow all relevant regulations, standards, and protocols related to manufacturing and assembly of products and kits, such as GMP or ISO standards
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
- Maintain a clean area
- 3-4 years of manufacturing experience,
- Background in or exposure to working in a GMP/ GDP environment,
- Strong organizational and people skills
- Experience with Zeta or BioDot equipment
- Past team leadership experience is a plus but not required for the right individual.

Target base salary range is $18.00-$22.00, which is based on various factors including skills and work experience. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for a competitive additional compensation program that is based on individual and company performance.
In the Role

- Develop new connections and maintain ones by engaging customers throughout the loan process and life cycle, presenting tailored solutions based on customer needs
- Manage the life cycle of loans, including collections activities while maintaining compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
- Engage with customers and other departments through multiple technological channels, including phone, email, chat and our in-house systems
- Exhibit passion for achievement, bringing an internal drive to succeed and goal oriented attitude
- Clearly educate and inform customers on optional insurance products, ensuring customers have a thorough understanding of the loans, terms and their options

The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday during standard business hours, with some extended hours during the week as needed which may include Saturday.

In this role, you will report to the Site Manager and will work closely with the Avantor's Advanced Laboratory Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science.

What we're looking for
Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
Experience:
Minimum 2+ years in lab operations required
2 years of hands-on experience in histology and microtomy, including precise tissue sectioning required
Technical Skills:
Microsoft Teams and Office Suite proficiency.
Knowledge of lab equipment maintenance and safety protocols.
Familiarity with inventory systems and KPI reporting.
Preferred Certifications:
SHE safety training
Hazardous materials handling (IATA/DOT)

Avantor's Advanced Laboratory Services team is a crucial part of the Avantor Services group serving over 500 customers in biopharma, pharmaceutical, educational, industrial, and high-tech industries with customizable, flexible solutions and end-to-end laboratory operations support. In this role you will:
Laboratory Operations & Support
Perform routine laboratory procedures such as media and buffer preparation, reagent/solvent mixtures, filtrations, material weighing, and basic physical testing.
Support senior staff by preparing materials and assisting with experiments.
Maintain and verify laboratory equipment (e.g., balances, pH meters).
Manage inventory and labeling of chemicals, glassware, and gas cylinders.
Executed routine histology and microtomy procedures utilizing instruments such as rotary microtomes, cryostats, paraffin embedding systems, tissue processors, and automated slide stainers.
Sample Management
Receive and check in samples using manual or electronic tracking systems.
Assign proper storage locations and maintain accurate storage records.
Complete and maintain all paperwork associated with sample deliveries.
Prepare, secure, and package samples for shipment; document contents for manifests.
Coordinate with shipping/receiving teams to schedule and stage outbound items.
Material Management - Human Biological Samples (HBS)
Handle Human Biological Samples in accordance with biosafety protocols, privacy standards, and ethical guidelines.
Label and accession HBS into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Manage HBS disposal following established processes.
Operate and maintain HBS storage systems, including -80C freezers, -180C liquid nitrogen freezers, and ambient storage cabinets.
Maintain documentation, tracking, and inventory accuracy related to HBS and associated storage equipment.

Pay Transparency:
The expected pre-tax pay for this position is
$45,000.00 - $72,450.00Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
