ABOUT THE ROLE
The Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operation of two offices in North Carolina (Charlotte and Raleigh) of an international commercial real estate advisory firm. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in administrative management and the ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and to assume a highly visible role in a best-in-class organization.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas:
Human Resources Management
- Oversee workflow for optimum service from administrative staff.
- Follow all required human resource policies and procedures and update personnel when changes or conditions warrant.
- Recruit and interview administrative staff positions. Onboard/Offboard new hires and terminations including preparation and review of new hire and termination documentation.
- Assist with all employee benefit enrollment processes.

Local Facilities Management

- Removes all trash, moves cardboard boxes to the bailer, and moves plastic wrap and other debris to the compactor
- Replaces light bulbs and alerts the appropriate contact when additional maintenance issues are noted (lights out, painting, etc.)
- Detects common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks, and promptly communicates them to management and/or Asset Protection
- Ensures compliance with housekeeping standards and programs (e.g., Zone Recovery) to maintain cleanliness and organization of store and working areas

- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft (Word, Excel)
- Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (D365 preferred)
- Relevant professional qualifications or experience – 2 years minimum in a buyer/planner or similar role.

Assist in various functions of the bar such as mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and keeping all service stands clean and stocked.
- Serves draft beer and alcoholic beverages.
- Follow drink recipes and guidelines for correct pour allowance.
- Take proper payment and make change for food and beverage items using a cash register.
- Maintain proper stock levels of liquor, beer, and wine.
- Greet, answer questions, ensure quality service, and resolve complaints for guests.
