GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION:


The National Account Manager is a highly motivated and results-oriented individual who is instrumental in driving significant sales growth by strategically identifying and securing new national accounts, maximizing revenue within our existing customer base, and successfully launching new products into the market. The National Account Manager collaborates with the field sales, operations, and marketing teams to manage efficient processes, drive sales growth, and stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.


CORE & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Aggressively drive new business growth by identifying, prospecting, and securing new national account opportunities that align with our strategic objectives.
  • Develop and execute high-impact sales strategies to achieve and exceed ambitious growth targets across all assigned accounts with a strong emphasis on expanding market share.
  • Unlock exponential revenue within our existing national account portfolio by proactively identifying untapped opportunities, cross-selling, and up-selling.
  • Champion new product launches, spearheading their introduction and rapid adoption across all assigned accounts to immediately generate new revenue.
  • Craft and deliver compelling sales proposals and presentations including line reviews.
  • Negotiate complex contracts, ensuring maximum profitability and win-win outcomes that solidify our market position.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline, meticulously track activity, and provide accurate forecasts to ensure consistent revenue delivery.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and potential growth areas, translating insights into actionable sales strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, product development, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company, build brand awareness, and identify new business opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:


  • Possess 4+ years of relevant sales experience managing national accounts with a demonstrable history of achieving substantial sales growth through new business acquisition and existing account expansion.
  • Proven expertise in launching and selling new products into national accounts, demonstrating a clear understanding of product lifecycle and market adoption strategies.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade at all levels using a consultative sales approach.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and develop strategic action plans.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Contribute to the outstanding reputation of the company by always putting the customer first, treating other employees with respect, and conducting business with the highest integrity

This role sits within a high-visibility, high-performance channel environment and requires a candidate who can operate both hands-on and strategically. The individual must be comfortable rolling up their sleeves to drive execution, while also managing partner relationships in a fast-paced, high-expectation ecosystem.
