The Catering Operations Manager holds duties related to successful execution and coordination for on and off premise events. The position entails a need for excellent attention to detail and communication skills; ability to multi-task on a variety of projects simultaneously, accurate distribution of pertinent information both internally to all departments as well as to clients and related vendors. You will be expected to have excellent client skills in presentation and marketing ability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consults clients as to scope, expectations, setting, menu, collateral entertainment to have a successful and appropriate event within the client’s budget
- Plans menus in consultation with the clients and chefs

- Performs final review and assessment of catering events to determine if they meet performance and quality standards

- Strong organization, time management and team motivation skills are essential for success in this role
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision

POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Vice President, Produce, the Director of Produce has oversight to Produce categories in terms of itemization, innovation, and financial performance. The Director of Produce qualifies vendors, evaluates bids, and negotiates prices and terms for purchased goods and services. The role is responsible for organizing and articulating the near and long-term strategic vision of the department and communicating that vision across the organization. The Role is also responsible for daily management of the department team of Category Managers, Purchasing Assistants, as well as a dotted line leadership of the schematics, replenishment, merchandising and support teams. The Role requires direct management of some categories.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- General oversight of the performance of the Produce Department's Category Management Team.
- Negotiate costs, promotions, assortment and other metrics with vendors/suppliers for assigned categories of products managed.
- Analyze sales and profit performance for assigned categories and suppliers/vendors and make appropriate business decisions related to results as well as for the entire department.
- Collaborates with procurement team in appropriate inventory management and creation of purchase orders for products handled through our self-distribution process. Negotiate favorable costs and terms.
- Dedicate appropriate time and effort into the innovation of assortment and merchandising for assigned categories and the department overall.
- Responsible for driving sales growth with new items and promotions.
- Complete full Category Review Process with all assigned categories minimally once per year.
- Accountable to full financial performance of assigned categories and the financial performance of the entire department.
- Provide strong customer service to Team Members.
- Manage relationships with Strategic Vendor Partners and garners support (financial, resources) to sustain the strategic vision.
- Develop Category Business Plans (CBP) for managed categories.
- Work collaboratively with all Team Members to create effective vendor relationships; establish strategic relations with key suppliers and manage vendor funding to drive profitable category growth.
- Approve section sizes and adjacencies in schematic plans for individually managed categories.
- Collaborates in the creation of business case for capital expenditures (shelving, fixtures, and store layout) to present to Senior Management.
- Provide daily performance and administrative leadership of the department team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent work experience, preferred.
- Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in product negotiation and procurement.
- Knowledge of supplier and logistic systems, as well as knowledge of the federal grade/product standards and regulations.
- Understanding of store operations and merchandising methodologies and practices.
- Integrate with local management, be part of a team, and drive business results.
- Ability to be persuasive and relentless in reinforcing the best interests of the Company.

THE PURPOSE:
The Supply Chain Planning Manager supports the Logistics & Operations team by ensuring that inbound and outbound operations are balanced and DC/3PL operations are optimized. This role plays a key part in keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly by enabling data-driven decision-making and minimizing errors across logistics workflows, collaborating with procurement, planning, customer service, sales and the DC operations.

ADDITIONAL ROLE INFORMATION:
- Compensation: The anticipated base salary range for this role is $100,000 – $115,000. This is a full-time, exempt position. This range represents the low and high ends of the expected base salary range for this role based on the applicable location. About the Role
The Independent Account Analyst Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Independent Account Analyst team. This individual will communicate objectives, demonstrate the ability to set context, direction, and expectations. They will ensure excellent customer service is provided to Ariat retailers, sales representatives, internal and external customers alike. Store Management serves a broad range of functions, including but not limited to leading all aspects of operation, to include the customer service, cost management, and other training functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take essential responsibility for the business performance of their respective stores;
- Ensure sales profitability through service excellence and lean operation;
- Prepare periodic report, to include sales control, employee scheduling, etc.;
- Organize and supervise the employee shifts;
- Participate in management and personnel meetings;
- Check stock levels and order supplies and materials;
- Maintain high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety;
- Store associates will be expected to cross train in each department including: Bread, Cake, POS, Bar.
- Additional duties at store when circumstances dictate.
Qualifications:
- Associate/Bachelor degree preferred;
- Minimum of two (2) years progressive experience in fast food or other related food operations, at leadership level position;
- Strong organizational, communications and leadership skills;
- Ability to multitask and work with tight deadline to meet new or changing demands;
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel;
- Good attendance and available to work overtime when needed;
- Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts;
- Adapt and demonstrate thorough understanding of the 85C concept;
- Available to work on weekends and holidays.

This key role drives consistency across QA systems and processes for the Clinical QA team, identifying issues and risks, escalating in a timely fashion, and aligning metrics that provide input into a compliance scorecard for Clinical programs. This leader provides insight and partners with both GCP QA staff and Clinical Operations Quality Management (OQM) to address day-to-day clinical trial operations activities focused on deviations, investigations, audit findings and CAPAs. This role operates across all the Clinical project teams and provides training with inspection readiness activities as required.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
- Responsible for designing and coordinating a comprehensive view and aligning standards on Quality systems across Clinical Quality Assurance.
- Assesses current state, identifies gaps, develops an action plan, implements improvements, and monitors the Quality Systems and internal processes related to GCP QA activities
- Develops, tracks, and manages periodic management reports focused on track and trend data for key Clinical and QA metrics driving the quality health of the GCP activities.
- Reviews and approves Deviations, and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs)
- Partners with other groups including Regulatory Affairs, Clinical Operations, Translational Medicine, regarding compliance issues and provides compliance guidance
- Maintains knowledge of current Health Authority regulations and standards and informs Clinical Development stakeholders of potential impact on the organization
- Represents CQA in internal presentations on quality issues, initiatives, and projects
- Identifies issues and risks and proposes options and solutions, escalating risks in a timely manner.
- Participates in identifying and implementing process and system improvements

Education/Experience/Knowledge & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in science (e.g., biology, chemistry, pharmacy, medical, mathematics, engineering, or a related field) and a minimum of 11 years of relevant experience; or,
- Master's degree in science (e.g., biology, chemistry, pharmacy, medical, mathematics, engineering, or a related field) and a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience; or,
- PhD degree in science (e.g., biology, chemistry, pharmacy, medical, mathematics, engineering, or a related field) and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or,
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience/The Ideal for Successful Entry into Job:
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
- Experience in Good Clinical Practices highly desired
- Demonstrated experience in Quality Systems including critical analysis of impact and continuous improvement processes
- Strong understanding of Quality Risk Management
- Experience using standard MS Office
Knowledge/Skills:
- Understanding of the drug development process, particularly related to QA oversight of clinical trials
- Experience in assisting in the development of business strategies, metrics, and continuous improvements
- Working knowledge of Health Authority rules and regulations
- Proven ability to manage Quality Systems, assuring completeness and acceptability as defined for GCP.

The base pay range for this position is $153,500 - $217,000 annually. The base pay range may take into account the candidate's geographic region, which will adjust the pay depending on the specific work location.
