POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking experienced and innovative leaders to support our growing markets in the retail space. Our District Managers are responsible for overseeing operations of assigned stores and are accountable for overall operations, staffing and merchandising of retail stores. The District Manager is the immediate supervisor of the store managers and work closely with them to ensure that each store is achieving maximum profitability through execution of short- and long-term strategies. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Oversee the overall operations and sales performance of multiple retail locations within assigned area.

· Responsible for conducting store visits focused on people, customer service, store contribution, and adherence to loss prevention initiatives.

· Complete store visit reports per an established visitation cycle ensuring time for efficient and effective store visits and follow up as needed.

· Provides leadership and direction to store managers, including assistance in recruiting, selection, and orientation processes, assists with employee development and training programs; planning, monitoring and appraising job results.

· Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required physical inventories and related Loss Prevention assignments/requirements.

· Responsible for seeking out and participating in community events that resonate with our consumers, i.e. fairs, events, conferences, expos, and other public gatherings, in order to promote the organization’s mission and initiatives.

· Additional duties as assigned.


PHYSICAL ASPECTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

· Must be able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.

· Frequent reaching and bending and twisting – below waist and above shoulders.

· Frequently required to use repetitive hand-to-finger motions and reach with hands and arms.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred; or equivalent years of experience sufficient to successfully perform the key accountabilities of the job required

· 5+ years progressive retail experience required

· Prior managerial/supervisory experience preferred

· High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications

· Must have demonstrated leadership ability, good communication skills, be self-directed, self-motivated and customer service oriented

We are seeking a Sales Manager to lead commercial execution across our S&W Ready-Mix operations in North and South Carolina. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day sales activities, developing customer relationships, and driving revenue growth across our Carolinas markets, representing approximately 500,000 to 1 million cubic yards of annual ready-mix production. The Sales Manager will work closely with operations leadership to ensure strong customer service, effective pricing discipline, and successful project execution across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and public-sector markets.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute sales activities across S&W Ready-Mix operations in North and South Carolina to drive revenue growth and margin performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, developers, municipalities, DOTs, and infrastructure partners across the region.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and infrastructure construction segments.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7–10 years of sales experience in building materials or construction-related industries (ready-mix concrete, aggregates, cement, asphalt, or similar heavy materials environment).
  • Proven ability to grow customer relationships and deliver revenue and margin improvement in competitive construction markets.
  • Strong understanding of ready-mix concrete markets, contractor relationships, DOT/public-sector procurement, and project bidding processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with plant operations, dispatch, and logistics teams.
  • Strong commercial skills including pricing discipline, negotiation, and project pipeline management.

Job Summary

PetSmart’s Pet Associate (Retail Sales Associate) is responsible for engaging with pet parents and their pets while providing positive experiences and upholding the company’s vision, mission, values, and strategy. This role also shares responsibility of store cleanliness and maintenance, and pet safety standards as well as the direct care of pets within our store. 

Essential Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the pet parent experience and outcomes conducted in person, over the phone, at the sales register and online.

  • Stages and sorts new product to match sales floor planners.

Job Summary

PetSmart’s Professional Bather is responsible for engaging with pet parents and their pets while providing positive experiences, salon specific services and upholding the company’s vision, mission, values, and strategy. This role also shares responsibility of store cleanliness, recommending of solutions for pet parents, and pet safety standards.  

Essential Responsibilities

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following and may vary depending on store characteristics and needs: 

  • Successful completion of PetSmart’s Splash training and safety certification program. 
  • Responsible for the pet parent experience and outcomes conducted in person, over the phone and at the sales register. 
  • Greets pet parents, answers their questions and assists with making reservations in the salon. 
  • Responsible for check-in and check-out procedures. 
  • Independently performs full menu of bath and brush services and standalone services, such as nail trims, teeth brushing, and sanitary services, as well as standalone services for cats*, in accordance with PetSmart’s bathing standards and procedures. 
  • Shares additional health and wellness solutions with pet parents based on pet’s needs. 
  • Ensures a safe environment for our associates, pets, and pet parents. 
  • Responsible for taking immediate action when a sick/injured pet is identified in the store; transport to the vet as needed. 
  • Recommends, informs, and sells merchandise and services. 
  • Maintains total store cleanliness standards. 
  • Assists and works in other departments as required. Other duties may be assigned. 
  • Participates in our culture of Belonging and Recognition.   
  • Follows all Company Policies and Procedures. 

*Providing standalone grooming services for cats is required for associates hired on or after March 2nd, 2026. Associates hired prior to this date may elect to be trained in cat grooming, once trained, cat grooming becomes an essential function of the role. 

Qualifications 

  • Proficiency in computer applications. 
  • Ability to react under pressure and maintain composure.  
  • Flexibility in schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and safety measures.  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

Essential physical demands and work environment

  • Associate required to stand, walk, climb a ladder, and use hands to handle, feel, hold, write, etc. The associate frequently is required to reach with hands and arms: stoop, kneel, crouch, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 
  • Associate must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally team lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception. 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the associate is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, as well as a wet environment with an abundance of pet hair. The noise level is moderate in the work environment; however, associates may be exposed to high levels of noise at times. Exposure to live animals and their handling is common.
