We are seeking a dynamic Associate Business Developer to join our Americas Institutional Group (AIG) within the Client Platform Institutional Sales team focusing on the institutional market and investment consultants. The opportunity set will include Corporate and Public Pensions, Endowments & Foundations, and Hospital systems. The Associate Business Development Manager will be based out of our Boston or New York office and will identify institutional opportunities across the eastern seaboard.
Responsibilities
The Associate Business Development Manager will conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and understand market trends, developing and maintaining deep relationships with new and existing clients and consultants, ensuring the highest levels of client service. Supervise staffing levels to achieve optimum guest service at all times and ensure that best?in?class guest service is consistently provided.
- Approve payroll, enter paid time off e.g. wellness, make time edits, and verify that store associates are paid for all time worked.
- Ensure that all areas of the store, including restrooms, are clean, organized, and merchandised per company guidelines and all store fixtures and equipment are in proper working order.
- Ensure Omni-Channel orders are fulfilled and shipped daily.
- Protect company assets through effective inventory control and loss prevention practices including scam awareness, safety best practices, and delivering bank deposits as required; visually inspect associates' packages and/or belongings at store closing or at the end of a shift as appropriate. Communicate any concerns or issues to the Store Manager.
- Support store team in meeting and exceeding sales, profit, and shrink goals and complete required administrative and operational duties.
- Perform store inventory counts, stock/restock merchandise on shelves and fixtures, and move products from the stock room to the front of the store to ensure that all products in the store are represented, organized, and alphabetized on the sales floor.
- Count, balance, and reconcile daily business transaction totals correctly and accurately in the POS system. - Verify all shipments for discrepancies/shortages and record any discrepancies in the POS system; conduct merchandise counts/inventories and communicate discrepancies to Store Manager/District Manager.
- Process defectives/recalls and stock pulls accurately and promptly, ensuring that all boxes are properly labeled and include packing lists.
- Maintain awareness of associate and guest safety; identify and immediately address potentially hazardous situations. Report any injuries promptly per company guidelines.
- Assist in maintaining store records/files in a neat and organized manner; help ensure that manuals are up to date.
- Supervise and delegate tasks to Sales Associates and Retail Keyholders in absence of Store Manager.
- Consistently adhere to GameStop policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, all policies and procedures in the Associate Handbook and the Code of Standards, Ethics & Conduct.

Qualifications*

Compensation Details
On-Target Earnings Range: $400,000-$430,000 annually Base Salary Range: $200,000-$215,000 annually We also offer meaningful equity compensation in the form of ISO options and offer early exercise and a 10-year post-termination exercise window.

What You'll Do- Generate and capture business opportunities. The BD team is ultimately responsible for growing revenue. This role in particular will support the growth team in identifying, pursuing, and shaping future opportunities for the greenfield maritime business line. You will grow a deep understanding of the existing and prospective client base, know the current and planned programmatic and technical roadmap, and be cognizant of the current and changing competitive landscape in the commercial, defense and international market. You will plan, initiate, and manage continuous engagements with current clients and prospective customers and monitor buying cycles for opportunities. You will support proposals and new customer efforts, including authoring and reviewing RFI, RFP, RFWP, and other request responses and support the growth and capture teams in closing on new business. Specific emphasis will be placed on candidates that have experience with commercial and defense maritime markets and industry.
- Grow existing business. You will partner with adjacent business lines and product engineers to identify opportunities for business growth with current clients. - Proven development and growth leader who has validated experience building, executing and winning business capture strategies with an emphasis on commercial and defense maritime industries.
- Demonstrated knowledge in defense acquisitions with particular emphasis on maritime industries and a history of zero-to-one defense program growth a plus.
- Experience in the technical, programmatic, and operational challenges of autonomous systems, surface platforms, and adjacent capabilities.
- Demonstrated high-energy, high-ownership leader who will drive performance and exhibit strong management skills with a high level of emotional intelligence.

As a Field Sales Representative IV, you will engage with customers across our Boston/New England markets to create demand for our suppliers' products.
What You Will Be Doing:
Primary responsibility is to build & maintain influential relationships with customers, suppliers and Arrow partners creating demand for Arrow products by proactively offering engineering and supply chain solutions. Key areas of responsibility are:
- Demand Creation and Relationship Management Focused on technical needs of complex, emerging, or underpenetrated prospects. Has a fundamental understanding of all of Arrow's solutions and is able to match those solutions to customer business needs. Will drive/create new opportunities and product selection within their accounts, and create demand activity using other technical resources as needed.
- Drive supplier and customer engineering relationships at multiple levels. Utilize distribution/rep/supplier knowledge to grow market share and sales. Build strong relationships with suppliers and their reps.
- Account Management: Initiate and schedule regular visits to the customer facility selling Arrow's franchised lines and services. Create selling opportunities through a planned discovery process. Gain solid understanding of customer's needs and how to translate those needs to Arrow requirements or opportunities. Executes on solution selling through a working knowledge of Arrow's supply chain solutions and design processes. - Relationships: Staying current on product knowledge and/or gaining technical certifications. Attend supplier training events to keep up-to-date on product line. Maintains supplier databases and keeps design registration information accurate. Stay updated on current related technologies in customer base, and attend training as needed.
This job profile requires the assignment and participation in a sales compensation plan. A portion of OTE will be variable and tied to specific sales-related goals as set forth by Arrow (70/30 split).
