What they Do:

Account Managers at Regional Insurance Associates are responsible for the day-to-day needs of our clients and work closely with our Account Executives (producers). Both the Producers and Account Managers are responsible for sales and service support.

 

Account Manager is responsible for:

·  Preparing submissions

·  Negotiating price and coverage details with underwriters

·  Preparing draft proposals for the producers

·  Premium financing

·  Review policies and endorsements for accuracy

·  Process requested changes in coverage

·  Answer client questions

·  Issue certificates of insurance

·  Issue Auto ID cards

·  Assist in the coordination of loss control and claims support

 

Attributes:

·  Focus and ability to accomplish complex tasks

·  Delegation and coordination skills

·  Team player

·  Experience with Vertafore AMS 360 is a plus

·  3-5 years of insurance industry experience

·  Relationship oriented ability to win over the respect and admiration of his/her clients,     

  colleagues and underwriters.

·  Excellent organization skills and attention to detail

·  Computer Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook; Adobe)

We’re growing and looking for a Key Account Sales Manager who is a true hunter — someone who can open doors, win new business, and grow major retail accounts.


This is a hands-on individual contributor role with no direct reports.


We’re looking for someone who still loves the chase — who gets energy from prospecting, pitching, and closing — and wants meaningful ownership, not just oversight.

What You’ll Do


New Business Development

  • Prospect and open new national and regional retail accounts (Target, Walmart, grocery, specialty, etc.)
  • Lead buyer outreach, presentations, negotiations, and follow-through
  • Build and actively manage a strong sales pipeline


Account Growth

  • Manage and expand existing key accounts
  • Drive sell-in, assortment growth, and promotional strategies
  • Analyze POS and retailer data to identify white space and opportunity


Execution & Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, and Finance
  • Support forecasting and inventory planning
  • Provide market feedback and competitive insights
  • Represent Dionis at trade shows and buyer meetings


What We’re Looking For

  • 5–8 years of CPG, beauty, or personal care sales experience
  • Experience working with large retailers (Target, Walmart, grocery, CVS, Walgreens, etc.)
  • Proven success opening new accounts — not just maintaining them
  • Strong analytical skills (Excel, POS data, retailer portals, CRM)
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — comfortable in a fast-paced, founder-led company
  • Team player who collaborates and provides thoughtful feedback
  • Willingness to travel (~40–50%)
