As a Sales Development Representative, you'll be a driving force behind Ascend's growth and at the forefront of our go-to-market efforts. You'll play a key role in helping us expand our footprint across the Mid-Market and SMB segments, further solidifying our leadership in the space.
We're looking for someone with a proven history of effective cold calling, a strong drive for constant improvement, and a creative approach to outreach. You'll be part of a growing team, helping us build a consistent and high-quality outbound motion.

Responsibilities Will IncludeObjective #1: In your first 30 days, you will onboard and get up to speed on Ascend, our processes, and our market (and begin generating pipeline):
- Develop a deep understanding of the problems our customers face, how Ascend solves them, and how to communicate that value to prospective customers
- Learn and ask questions about how we operate as an SDR team, as a GTM function, and as a business more broadly
- Jump into prospecting, cold calling, cold emailing, and booking demos with guidance and coaching from other team members
Objective #2: In your first 60 days, you will establish the key habits and processes needed to drive predictable and repeatable results:
- Work with your manager on a strategic initiative that you will own, build, and implement across the team (for example: defining new outreach strategies or figuring out ways to implement AI into the team's workflows)
- Identify and establish a repeatable process to meet weekly, monthly, and quarterly goals, and build structure around your workflows to ensure consistency
- Experiment with different outreach strategies, messaging, cadences, and channels, and attend industry events
Objective #3: In your first 90 days, you will have in-depth conversations with prospective customers and perform alongside the other members of our SDR team:
- Collaborate with marketing and the broader GTM function to identify new opportunities and push the team forward
- Leverage data and reporting to find areas for improvement and optimization, both individually and across the sales development function
- Give feedback to, and receive feedback from, other team members to ensure consistent learnings, and mentor new SDRs as they join
- Some proven experience: SDR experience in SaaS is preferred (but open to ambitious people who break that mold and are eager to grow in their sales career)
- Strong communication skills: comfortable speaking on the phone, clear in writing, and able to adapt messaging to the moment
- A learner's mindset: self-motivated, resourceful, and excited to learn new strategies, messaging, and tools

We are looking for a Sr Global Product Marketing Manager to be responsible for planning, developing, and executing on marketing programs and activities for our organization. The ideal candidate will have a background with strategic marketing frameworks and concepts, along with professional and/or educational experience in NGS. Sr Marketing Manager Duties and Responsibilities:
- Partner to develop strategic, multi-channel integrated marketing plans for Twist's Next Generation Sequencing portfolio, leveraging customer segmentation, competitor analysis, business trends, market opportunities, and timeline planning of tactical marketing programs
- Develop a customer-centric content strategy aligned with each stage of the customer journey. Oversee content creation across various formats, including blogs, case studies, videos, emails, social media, and webinars to meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Develop copy and creative content for NGS campaigns, including web display, email and other digitally deployed content
- Define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for content and digital marketing campaigns, such as engagement rates, lead generation, conversion rates, and return on investment (ROI).
- Deploy product NPIs and CPIs, managing the GTM process by developing the marketing strategy for all channels and deploying content to optimize ROI
- Collaborate and ensure alignment of marketing plans among NGS Product Management, Field Marketing, Digital marketing, Commercial Leaders, and other stakeholders
- Execute engaging marketing campaigns to achieve measurable results for new and/or existing products within the NGS portfolio.
- Successfully engage with advertising agencies and the internal design team to deliver high-quality assets, including, but not limited to, creative direction and content for print and digital collateral, PR, social media, customer-facing presentations, global tradeshow properties, and promotional materials
- Maintain knowledge of the trends and competitive activity relevant to NGS markets
- Partner with Product Management and Field Marketing to support workflow and application sales training, support, and enablement materials
- Manage marketing budgets and optimize the promotional mix on campaigns to achieve a high return on investment
- Use customer research and analytics to understand and anticipate customer needs and pain points. Create and refine journey maps to tailor content and messaging to specific stages in the customer journey.
- Act as a brand steward, ensuring that all content aligns with brand voice and guidelines.
- Interact with varying levels of internal and external personnel including direct customer communication, KOL engagement, and management
- Prepare and present progress and reports to program stakeholders
- Assist team members when needed to accomplish team goals
What You'll Bring to the Team:
- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) in Life Sciences required, advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years' experience in Life Sciences Marketing role, experience working with NGS Applications
- 5+ years previous experience in product marketing management or marketing program management administration
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite and/or Gsuite; working knowledge of program/project management software (e.g., Smartsheet, MS Project)

- Ability to be actively in the field on most business days with some overnight travel based on territory to various client sites.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
Preferred Experience:
• Experience selling offshore technology talent or remote engineering teams

• Understanding of distributed workforce and remote hiring models
Success Metrics:
Success in this role will be measured by:

Compensation:
