ResponsibilitiesTransportation Drivers are responsible for transporting, loading and unloading freight in a productive, safe and claims-free manner between our Service Centers.
Perform pre and post trip inspections on tractor/trailer
Affix correct placards to tractor/trailer when necessary
Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle
Interact and converse with internal customers

General purpose: The Utility Equipment Operator I, II and III operate a variety of vehicles, heavy and light equipment, specialized equipment and various hand and power tools in the construction, maintenance, and repair of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water systems and utility work site restoration for the assigned division. This work is performed under intermediate supervision the incumbent performs a variety of routine work within established procedures and receives detailed instructions on new projects and assignments; work is reviewed periodically through observation, adherence to policies and procedures, and review of results achieved.
Water Distribution: Installation, replacement, repair and maintenance of potable water mains/services, valves, hydrants, and other appurtenances.
Wastewater Collection: Installation, replacement, repair and maintenance of sanitary sewer mains/laterals, manholes, valves, and other appurtenances; operation of CCTV vehicles and equipment; operation of vacuum trucks and equipment.
Construction Services: Construction for the installation or modification of water, wastewater and reclaimed water infrastructure including excavations, horizontal directional drilling, pipe bursting, utility locating/tracking equipment.
Utility Patch Crew: Restore roads, sidewalks, curbs, excavations, etc. for Water and Wastewater Department and Electric Department utility site work.
Essential functions: Operate and maintain a variety of heavy equipment that may include, but not limited to, backhoes, excavators, front-end loaders, horizontal directional drill rigs, tapping/line stop equipment, skid steers, asphalt paver/screed, CCTV truck/equipment and vacuum trucks/equipment. Operate a variety of equipment and power and hand tools that may include, but not limited to, forklifts, chain saws, cement cutters, jackhammers, plate compactors, tampers, dewatering pumps/well points, etc. Assist in installation, maintenance, and repair of water, wastewater, and reclaimed water infrastructure or utility work site restoration. Transport personnel, equipment, and materials to and from job sites; hauls refuse, brush, rock, materials, and equipment. Operate various pieces of equipment on a daily basis in a proficient manner while complying with safety rules and regulations. Inspect and maintain assigned equipment; check oil and perform basic service tasks; report malfunctions for repair; prepare equipment and refuel daily as required; perform safety inspections of assigned equipment. Oversee and implement temporary traffic control. Duties may require manual labor in support of the construction, repair, installation, maintenance, etc. Perform supervisory duties in the absence of the division supervisor or foreman. Assist in construction support for other divisions and departments as needed. May be required to work nights, weekends, or take on-call duty on rotating basis for after hour's emergencies and services. Perform other work as assigned.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Working knowledge of departmental and municipal rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Working knowledge of occupational hazards, safety rules, and practices and the ability to transmit such knowledge to subordinates. Working knowledge of operation and routine maintenance of light weight equipment. Working knowledge of methods and materials utilized in the installation and maintenance of water distribution, wastewater collection, reclaimed water systems, and/or utility work site restoration; skilled in the use of heavy and light equipment and hand and power tools. Skill in the operation and maintenance of all the conventional and specialized equipment used within the division including ability to safely load and unload equipment on/off trailers. Ability to understand and read water and wastewater utility GIS/atlases and construction plans. Ability to perform a variety of semi-skilled manual tasks. Ability to detect required repairs and make minor adjustments to equipment. Ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles, light and heavy equipment, various hand and power tools. Ability to remain on call, 24 hours a day, seven days a week for after-hours repairs, emergencies, and other related concerns. Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors, city officials, and the general public. This position is anticipated to start in March 2026.
Join the mission to support U.S. military service members and their families as they work through important military life adjustments while serving their country. The Adult Military and Family Life Counselor (Adult-MFLC) position offers a unique opportunity to serve a vital role, in providing non-medical support, which includes counseling, consultation, and outreach, to service members, military family members and eligible staff. Non-medical counseling is preventive in nature and aims to address and provide solution focused approaches to issues before they become greater challenges.
Service members, spouses and family members face unique emotional and environmental challenges due to the stress of military life. This is an opportunity for you to reach them where and when you are most needed.
Adult-MFLC responsibilities include:
- Face-to-face counseling to military service members and their families (individuals, couples, and families).
- Observe, participate, and engage in activities with service members, military spouses and families; provide coaching, guidance and support to installation staff; and model behavior management techniques for staff and military family members.

Environment:

The indoor locations are located within a military installation controlled by the Department of Defense. The outdoor locations frequently involve traversing over uneven grassy, gravel, and/or dirt areas, ascending/descending stairs, and exposure to the weather. Much of the work at NAS happens on a ships ported there, which will require climbing ladders up and down and working in tight spaces on the ship.

Minimum Requirements:
- A Master’s degree or higher in the Behavioral Health Professions (MS/MSW/MA/PhD).
- Licensure to practice at the independent practice level (LCSW, MFT, LPCC, Psychologist) in any US State.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and have an active passport that is good for 6 months after the end of the assignment.
- Must be able to pass a basic background check for employment, a Child National Agency Check, and Inquiries (NACI/CNACI) clearance, commonly called a Public Trust clearance.

Schedule is Monday thru Friday Swing Shift to start at 3:30pm
This position will serve as a member of the Health, Safety & Environmental team with emphasis on General Industry Occupational health and Safety. This position will report to the HSE Supervisor. Primary responsibilities include promoting and implementing all HSE objectives including HSE programs, policies, and procedures with primary emphasis on occupational health and safety. HSE Tech II will work to establish the desired safety culture of occupational incident/injury prevention. To perform this job successfully, the incumbent must have a passion for and demonstrated commitment for workplace injury prevention and be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. The incumbent will have general knowledge of OSHA regulations, standard safety procedures, and best safe work practices. General knowledge of behavioral-based safety programs is a plus. Timely completion and follow-up of assigned tasks and accurate collection and tracking of required data is essential.
Primary Duties
Under general supervision of the HSE Supervisor, the HSE Technician II will:
Perform all work in compliance with company policy and within the guidelines of bioMerieux Quality System.
Implement and monitor the facilities health & safety programs, policies, and procedures. Collect and analyze safety incident and injury statistics in a spreadsheet format and report results to safety committee and other stakeholders.
Assist with monitoring environmental practices and permitting to ensure compliance.
Perform job safety analysis (JSA’s) and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct safety training including:
new employee safety orientation
Specific occupational health and safety topic training to individuals and groups
Compile statistics and reports relevant to safety training.
Inspect and maintain safety equipment, including fire extinguishers, safety showers/eye wash, first aid kits and AED’s.
Assist with site Safety Committee activities and Building Emergency Response Teams (B.E.R.T) as needed.
Assist with maintaining the company wide, web based chemical inventory list and Safety Data Sheet
Conduct incident investigations including root cause analysis (RCA) and recommend corrective and preventive measures.
Work closely with the continuous improvement (CI) team to implement safety related CI improvements and initiatives.
Conduct safety and environmental inspections.
Perform incident and near miss investigations.
Other duties as assigned.
Supplemental Duties
May spend workday at multiple physical locations in work environments including office, warehouse, clean space manufacturing, R&D lab and bio-chemistry. Must possess a valid Utah State driver’s license.
Some local travel is required between bioMérieux buildings (all within Salt Lake City, Utah)
Training, Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in safety, or other technical discipline (i.e engineering, industrial hygiene, science)
In lieu of a degree, 3 or more years of relevant experience may suffice.
OSHA course certifications and practical experience in general industry occupational safety in a manufacturing or multi-functional operation.
Must have experience in training preparation and presentation to individuals and groups. Must demonstrate this ability prior to job offer.
Minimum of three years’ experience performing OSHA HSE duties in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Computer Skills – Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Power Point, etc.
The incumbent will have advanced knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations, standard safety procedures, and best safe work practices.
Advanced knowledge and understanding of behavioral-based safety programs are a plus.

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods.
Ability to ascend/descend stairs, ladders, ramps, and the like.

The pay for this role is between $27.50 to $36.20 an hour. This role is eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and individual performance per bioMerieux’s bonus program. This range may differ from ranges offered for similar positions elsewhere in the country given differences in cost of living. UofL Health and the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Louisville, KY, are recruiting an academic Anesthesiologist with a subspecialty certification in critical care to join its Cardiovascular Critical Care division.
The intensivists lead the multi-disciplinary Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) team at the UofL Health – Heart Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. This 17-bed unit houses critically ill cardiac surgical patients, critically ill patients requiring mechanical circulatory support, heart and lung transplant recipients, and patients with unstable ascending aortic disease.
The CVICU team comprises physicians, non-physician providers, and dedicated nurses, pharmacists, and therapists. In addition, the CVICU regularly hosts medical students and post-graduate trainees from the University of Louisville School of Medicine, including Critical Care Anesthesiology fellows.
Opportunities exist for teaching, research, and scholarly effort as well as clinical time in Anesthesiology. Academic rank will be commensurate with the qualifications, experience, and interest of the candidate.
The Division of Cardiovascular Critical Care is housed in the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. The multidisciplinary design of the Department engenders a collaborative relationship between its critical care and surgical members.
The successful candidate is a Diplomat of the American Board of Anesthesiology, has completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in critical care, and is board-certified or board-eligible in Critical Care. Active medical licensure in the state of Kentucky, active BLS and ACLS certification, and possession of an unrestricted DEA number will be necessary.
