What You'll Do: The Senior P&C Sales Consultant is responsible for developing and executing P&C sales initiatives, providing delivery of sales support to the agency force and proactively driving initiatives that result in new account growth and improved client retention.
In addition, the Senior P&C Sales Consultant will be involved in the Agent E&O claims process.
Daily Responsibilities include: Proactively promote net account growth by planning and executing assigned initiatives and innovative promotional efforts in alignment with corporate distribution strategy.
Assist multi-line exclusive agents in determining the most effective way to protect the futures and livelihoods of FBFS client/members and prospective client/members by providing phone and electronic mail sales support regarding questions about property and casualty insurance products and services.
Provide assistance and support with P&C quote accuracy and quote optimization to agents and their staff.
Review training materials, create informational and enlightening content and present to agents and/or company staff as needed.
Assist the agency force in utilizing brokerage products and programs to help drive sales if the products or services are not offered through Farm Bureau Property & Casualty Insurance Company or Western Agricultural Insurance Company.
What It Takes To Join Our Team: The ideal candidate will have the following experience and skills: College degree or equivalent plus three years of relevant experience required.
Property/Casualty Consultant or similar credible sales experience preferred.
Results driven with a strong motivation to succeed Strong P&C industry and product knowledge with a desire to keep abreast of changing product trends in the personal and commercial lines industry.
Must have or attain in-depth knowledge of Farm Bureau's Member's Choice and Commercial products and various rating system software packages.

· Triages phone calls and significant device evaluation findings, gives carries out verbal and written orders according to standing orders or established protocols.

· Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire.
· Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certified or obtained by the end of the orientation period (approximately six (6) weeks). Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers.
· ACLS within 6 months of hire
· Level I Cardiac Arrhythmia class completion within 6 months

Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Manager oversees the daily operations of the accounts payable function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reimbursements, while maintaining a strong business partnering relationship with Procurement and other areas within the company ports. This role is responsible for maintaining strong internal controls, managing vendor relationships, and leading a team of AP analysts and AP specialists to support the companys financial operations. It also oversees the annual AP-related IRS tax reporting, Connecticut Sales tax reporting, and quarterly and year-end AP accrual reporting, as well as any special projects.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, including hands-on experience designing, building, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to support data-driven decision-making.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment runs, and expense reimbursements andmakes recommendations on hiring, performance appraisals, and all related employment issues.
- Supervise and mentor AP staff, providing training, performance feedback, and development opportunities.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining systems, procedures and internal controls (AP-related) to ensure adherence to companypolicies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements and drivingprocess improvements through effective use of systems.
- Design, track, and analyze AP-related KPIs and operational metrics, using data-driven insights to enhance process accuracy, efficiency, and control performance.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all AP transactions.
- Monitor aging reports and ensure timely payments to vendors.
- Interact regularly with upper management, other internal customer departments, and external customers to identify and integrate solutions that meet the company's goals both financially and operationally.
- Interact with the Procurement department and external vendors as needed to resolve unusual costing or receipt problems.
- Oversee IRS (1099 & 1042) and Connecticut sales tax reporting.
- Oversee quarterly and year-end AP accrual reporting and performing account reconciliations, resolving discrepancies.
- Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation.
- Research and respond to inquiries from K of C staff and vendors; resolves issues.
Skill Qualifications
Required:
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices
- Supervisory skills or ability
- Experience in a high-volume, multi-entity environment
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical and analytical skills with demonstrated experience building, monitoring, and interpreting KPIs and operational metrics
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Systems/Technical Knowledge:

Education and Experience Qualifications
Required:
- BS in Accounting
- 5-7 years of experience, preferably in Accounts Payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Familiarity with automated AP tools and workflow systems.
- CPA or CMA certification preferred
